boxis Boxis® AutoShred® 300-Sheet Auto Feed Microcut Paper Shredder (AF300)

I am a small business owner and simply cannot spend thousands of dollars for shredder. This deal seemed too good to be true. I decided to risk it and bought this shredder. I am now 20K of shredded paper and we are still going strong. This shredder is a lifesaver and it was a cost I could afford.

Update: So within the first year we had to send the shredder back to the manufacturer. One day I opened the top and one of the rollers had just fallen off and was laying on the paper tray. They sent us back a refurbished unit, which never quite worked as well as the original. Fast foward to this December, 2 years later and we go to do our year end shredding and it's dead again. This time it thought the waste bin wasn't installed so wouldn't shred at all. Sent it to Square trade under the extended warranty as it was out of warranty with the manufacturer and got news back today it can't be fixed. Less than 10,000 pages, definetly not worth the money.Love this shredder! We have an office with files dating back 20 years. Instead of adding new file cabinets a few years back I started shredding and disposing of unneeded files. It was a nightmare feeding a few sheets at a time through my old shredder, even with it set on top of a garbage can. With this shredder you can set the papers in and walk away, I've only had it jam twice and overheat once when I didn't wait long enough between batches. We've run over 6000 pages through it so far. You do have to take out the staples, but it sounds a lot more difficult than it is, we just tear off the corner where the staple is and you're good to go.

Expensive, but works great. Thicker papers and cards need to be manually fed through. However regular thickness copy paper and thinner papers, even receipts can be stacked up inside and you don't have to stand there. Just close the lid and it takes care of shredding the whole stack . It works great! Haven't had a jam yet.

I've had this shredder for almost 2 months and it works great. I just fill it up with about 300 sheets of paper and the machine does the rest. It's very quiet compared to other shredders I've owned. I have yet to have a jam up. I highly recommend this machine.

Shreds down to a paper dot. Takes about 300 pages at a time - super quiet. The office loves the convenience of being able to load, lock and leave it to shred. Great investment.

We have had to return this shredder twice. The first time was with only a little over 1000 sheets and the second one with 2000. It jams up and I have tried the cardboard feed to fix multiple times and it wont even shred one piece of paper right now. Its a great concept but it does not work for my office. It may be that we are not emptying it enough but there should be someway to clean it out and still use it. I am embarrassed to have purchased this item because its so bad.

Works as advertised.

I have 600 square feet of rental U-Haul type storage units. There are so many retained, past history boxes that I wanted to shred all of these paper pages. I was willing to invest such a significant amount of money of $649.00 to buy the best shredder recommended by other Amazon customers. Unfortunately, it was delivered without one of four caster wheels. Delivered with no instruction manuals. I returned it on 11/20/2018. Not yet given Amazon Credit Card credit refund.
