Amazing plasters
Absolutely amazing plasters. Perfect for elderly people who’s skin is very thin, had to use one on an elderly relative’s face after a bad fall and it’s healed great and you’d never know there was a bad tear to the skin. I bought more and I’d recommend them to everyone.

The best plaster I have ever used
Brilliant Plaster. Ultra thin and flexible. Super comfortable and had a clean/ invisible look that was barely noticeable. Lasted on my knee for days and kept wound protected without having to change regularly. I could check on the wound to see how it was healing. Would definitely use again.

Elastoplast Second Skin Hydrocolloid Waterproof Plasters
I haven’t needed to use these yet but I have used them in the past. They are my go to plaster and well worth keeping in reserve, should the need arise. They’re also waterproof, offer great wound protection and are very cheap for such a product.A few years ago I had three small basal cell carcinoma (non malignant skin cancer) patches removed from my legs. Due to the fact that I had an allergy to standard plasters since childhood, it was this type of hydrocolloid plaster that I used as they are brilliant at assisting with wound healing. Being ultra thin and very flexible, they’re barely noticeable and are also long lasting and remain clean, especially if hidden away under clothing.

Very strong adhesive plasters which I found painful to remove
I'm not sure what to make of these plasters.I appreciate the idea behind them—to protect damaged skin with a plaster that releases healing capsules and reduces pain—but I'm confused about what type of damaged skin they are meant for.The plaster has a strong adhesive, and I mean seriously strong. I wore one for two days on my hand and had real trouble removing it. While the strong adhesive is a plus for holding the plaster in place, it's not ideal for wounded skin. The entire surface of the plaster is covered in adhesive, with no material to place on the wound itself. When pulled off, it takes everything with it. The warning on the plaster advises against using it on sensitive or very hairy skin. The plaster is thin and flexible, with some stretch when taking it off, but even so, it will pull off everything in its path.I found removing these plasters painful and think it could possibly be detrimental to the healing process depending on what sort of wound you are using them on. I almost ripped my stitches out on my finger when I tried removing it.

Wish there were more than 6.
There are a lot of positives to these plasters. They stick really well, have good protection from water and/or sweat, are fairly inconspicuous being transparent, and have a kind of healing pod in the centre of the plaster which claims to accelerate healing and help with keeping broken skin clear of dirt and bacteria. That being said, I think my biggest grievance with this product is the price per piece ratio. With only 6 plasters in the box (all the same size), you're paying almost 55p per plaster, which is pretty darn expensive in my opinion. Maybe if there were more plasters, or if there were a variety of sizes/shapes to be used in various places on the body, this would be better value for money. As it stands, they're only really good for larger areas (for example, the heels and similar blister-prone areas). 4 stars.
