I love all these little gadgets. Excellent Magnet, holds pretty strong, I was surprised. I use this in conjunction with a USB C carousel lead and the charging and functionality works perfectly. Great for diff angles. I keep the USB C end in my phone at all times, usung just the lead when it needs charged. Great compatiblity with all my Samsung Devices. Very easy and straight forward to use. Good for low wattage items like phones. Transfers charging speed quite well.I use it with "Super fast" charging on Samsung phones. The Voltage/Current is the same with and without the charger, but the charging time has increased very slightly, which is to be expected. I use it because the charging port on my phone is wrecked, and this keeps it charging.NOT RATED FOR HIGH POWER. Although it says 240W, it does not seem to have an E-marker, making it unsuitable to charge high-power devices. Doing so can cause damage to the motherboard of the laptop(and it will need to be replaced). This is, in its simple form, a very short USB-C cable extension. Which themselves are not very safe.Use it for phones, sure. No harm there. But not for anything 65W or above. This company provides 65, 100 & 240W cables with e-markers in them.UPDATE: the adapter doesn't seem to recognize the USB-A to USB-C cables properly(at least for Samsung S21), so the phone's firmware limits the power draw.

Great value

Liked: fast charging speeds, reliable connection even with a loose USB-C port. Easy to disconnect and connect, sits snugly on the charging cable.Didn't like: the magnetic part that is in the phone can come loose and get lost. Charger doesn't seem to support laptop charging too well, as it caused my laptop to shut down and become unresponsive twice.Warning: adapter has no E-Mark Chips, it will brick if used in a laptop or anywhere where motherboard is connected directly to the charging port. Only use this adapter to charge batteriesOverall, great for phones, mildly dangerous for laptops

While I'm putting this as 5 stars it doesn't do certain things that a straight USB type C cable does - if you want full USB 3.2 data transfer, that's out, thunderbolt video is out, and certain additional functionality that companies have put into their USB portsBUT, what you lose in the lack of pins, you make up FAR more in the magnetic connector, flexibility of the rotating terminals and the hinged bit in the adapter - the amount of times I've grabbed my phone off of the desk & just gave it a little tug to pull the connectors apart & gone from landscape to portrait in a stand without having to fiddle with the cable is worth it aloneOne of my phones has 120W charging and this adapter does it without breaking a sweat, when I need to transfer data from my computer I just pull off the charging cable & attach the data cable and BAM, no fiddling with the port, no accidentally pulling the cable out at the wrong angle, no fussing to get the cable into a "tight" port, it's already in and all you have to do is get the magnetic parts close to each other and they snap into placeI now have these on my power banks, data cables, charging cables and even games controllers so that they can charge easily & be popped off when I need to move aroundI just can't imagine not using these now - all of my devices (apart from my laptop which uses the USB ports for monitors) have them on, and I'm buying more so I can have every device that can have them will, and will be buying spare packsThe only thing I'd wish is that they would sell them in packets or more than 2, because I've now got about 5 of the little ejection tools

Why did you choose this product over others?:Used for charging 45W max output charger, far below the claimed capability. Each one lasted just 2 or 3 days before it died. Was charing at 20V so only 2.2 amps max. Even at this low amperage both burnt out under 20 hours of being connected and in practice only trickle charging for 90% of that time. While they are fantastic in principle and the design, fit and finish would have received 5 stars, the internal wire is such a low quality no one should consider buying these. If I had had reviewed these after a few hours of use I would have given a great review and recommended everyone try these to reduce wear on the port and cable and I imagine all the glowing reviews are from people who had not yet seen the short lifespan.In short, these are a great Idea and I don't know if other sellers have better internals so well worth a try but these are not droids you are looking for.

Great product, easy to use

Allowed me to utilise a couple of spare 100w USBC to USBC charging cables with my 9 pin circular magnetic connectors.Cheaper than replacing the cables altogether. They work as expected and although rather expensively priced for what they are are doing the job. Easy to use but just a little stiff in operation.
