Sprained finger? Recuperate in Comfort.
My husband purchased this for me after I did something and sprained my finger. (I think I had wrenched it when the silverware drawer accidentally pulled out of its track and I wasn't expecting to catch the entire weight of the drawer on my finger.) My finger's middle joint hurt for about a week until we purchased this finger splint set. I have to tell you that my finger started feeling better from the moment I first put it on my finger. It's super comfortable, and really easy to use. The inner sleeve feels pretty good, and the support of the outer brace is perfect, as it doesn't overcompress the joint, but yet it keeps the joint nicely stabilized. To be honest, it fit so well that I often forgot that I was wearing it. (I accidentally got it wet because I forgot it was on when I put my hand in a bucket of water. Silly me, but seriously, this is a comfortable finger splint!) Within a few days of wearing the splint during the day and night, my finger started to feel better, and I could switch to wearing it at night. By the end of the week, I couldn't tell that I had even injured the finger. Now, to be fair, yes, there was a lot of healing of the injury that may not be attributed to the BodyMoves finger splint. But I'm an older woman, and after I injured the finger, it felt like it was aggravating my arthritis. So I expected the joint to hurt a lot longer than it did. And even if it continued to hurt, wearing the splint was really, really comfortable, and it did a great job stabilizing my finger so that I couldn't do further damage to it. I am grateful that my husband had the forethought to look for this splint and buy it for me. I highly recommend this, should you be in a situation where your knuckle joints hurt on your hands. I don't think you'd be disappointed with the purchase. I certainly wasn't.

Using these for Mallet Finger
The BodyMoves Finger Splints are the best over the counter solution I've found to help my ordeal of a torn tendon which resulted in mallet finger. I'm on my second pair as the damaged finger joint needs to be immobilized for 8 weeks. I'm on week 7. Much to the annoyance of my wife I keep using my hand to get things done around the house. So I have tried a couple different kinds of splints and these ended up being my go-to splints. These splints are easy to get on and off, they are comfortable and adequately padded, and they do serve the intended purpose. You can also bend them easily to the shape you need and it's tough for me to bend them out of shape with a single wrapped finger (although I'm sure there must be someone out there with unbelievable finger strength). I do have a couple of additional observations/suggestions. (1) if you are going to take these on and off a lot, the material the Velcro grabs wears out and they just stop being as secure as I would like. This is true with most excessively used Velcro, so not a defect, just be aware you might need more splints depending on term of use. I just bought my second pair after week 4 of use of the first pair. (2) if you look at the picture, I added a little piece of foam lined metal under the splint wraps to help me keep my finger joint from moving. The foam/metal I added wears out quicker than the BodyMoves Finger Splint does. Again, not a defect of the splint needing these, but I keep using my hand and needed to do this to stop as much joint flexing as I could. The extra metal/foam did help and I don't put it in there all the time. (3) If you need extra support or want to stop these splints from getting dirty get some self adhesive bandage wrap, you can get it in about the same color, and cover the entire splint/finger with it. Just don't make it too tight. I usually do that before working in the yard or when I know I might be lifting heavy objects for some extra support. (4) I have not been getting these wet, other than sweat. Therapy made me a plastic splint for that. But they do get splashed when washing hands and they dry right up. I always have another i can switch to if needed. After yard work I usually swap to a clean splint until first one dries. (5) the straps that Velcro around your finger are a little stretchy, so that's good, so you don't make them too tight, but also bad if you put your hand into your pants or coat/jacket pocket. The splint tends to get stuck and slide right off your finger. Wrapping the entire splinted finger in some self adhesive bandage wrap does help, mainly because it makes it too big to get into some pockets, at least the ones where it would get stuck. So think about what pocket you put your car keys into. (6) most likely, you will not be able to get a glove on with these splints. Not a defect, that's probably the case with most finger splints. So, if it's winter, get a pair of mittens.

Pleasantly surprising solution to my finger problemo
I'm fairly young in my early 30's, and use my computer quite a bit thanks to the lockdown, and found that I injured my right pointer finger from overuse of my mouse. I would probably declare this arthritis or the onset of trigger finger possibly.... Bottom line is I was having issues closing my finger without feeling some pain the more I closed my finger. So I figured I'd get some kind of brace for it and give it a chance and so far I've noticed improvements in the range of motion of my finger again without pains flaring up or my finger getting swollen up. I've been using the elastic sleeves that came with the order over the actual braces because it's less intrusive and functions more naturally for about three weeks now. It's been a slow heal. But I've been keeping the sleeve on my pointer most of the time outside of showering and doing yard work. The sleeve stays on during the night no problem unlike the brace which sometimes wouldn't be on my finger when I woke up. I've noticed, in my case, that it takes a LONG time to see improvements with my own injury and you have to stick with keeping your finger in a sleeve/brace to see improvements. But I can say for myself, this has been a worthwhile purchase though it has been a long journey. At the rate at which my finger is healing, I'm assuming it maybe another month of keeping to this sleeve. Regardless, I'm pumped to know that I no longer have swelling happening, and my range of natural motion has drastically improved over a few weeks. I can other health choices have changed since a few weeks back also that may have helped with healing. I take multivitamins with Omega=3's now, exercise four times a week, drink more water... so who knows how much outside variables maybe also impacting my recovery. The big key for me was to stop the inflammation so my finger could heal, which seems to be working so far. Still recommend trying this if you can relate to my post though. Worth a shot at the very least!

Comfortable, easy to use, way more practical
So glad I ditched the bulky, unsightly, old-fashioned metal and sponge splint and wrapping tape that my doctor put on me in favor of these. I also managed to sprain two fingers at once, so the fact that this is a 2 pack is even better. These are very well-designed and feel high quality. They are extremely comfortable to wear for even long lengths of time because they don't inhibit the rest of your hand as much. And they are easy to take on and off when needed. Definitely beats removing, reapplying and ultimately wasting a bunch of wrapping tape. Also much more hygienic, in my opinion. They secured my fingers firmly and helped my sprains heal more quickly than I expected. The extra little compression sleeves were a nice touch. I actually combined these splints with a velcro wrap because I needed to stabilize my fingers. It all integrated very nicely without being bulky. Very glad I purchased these. I love that I can keep them in a drawer for the inevitable next time I sprain my fingers.

Updated review- downgraded original review. Quick to put on, comfortable, and stops movement.
Edit: Downgrading my review, because of the included compression sleeves. Over time they pill up from touching any other fabric in your life also lost elasticity and are falling apart. They were probably more useful than the splints themselves until now. Original review: This thing's perfect. It makes it so you can't move your finger and it's comfortable. The compression sleeves are an awesome touch. A lot easier than having your entire hand constricted just because of trigger finger or arthritis issues in the fingers. Really quick and easy to put on too.

Great quality & works perfectly!
These little things are perfect! I got the tan and no one really even notices it’s there! The metal support is removable so it gives support but still allows your finger to move a bit. However, if you want the metal support it’s easy to put back and is bendable. The little sleeve gives light support too & I was able to put that one while I kept ice on my finger to separate my skin from the ice but still have support. I do construction and cleaning and have been using these for 2 weeks so far and it still looks good! I wear to bed also to give support, the only thing is I wear it upside down so the square part is supporting the edge of my finger instead of resting at the base. I needed more support at the top of my finger. Very nice that you can wear multiple ways depending on your needs. Will definitely buy again.

Good enough for small injuries!
For starters, I'm a stubborn man who hates going to the doctor, so take my review with that in mind. During some rock climbing, I pulled tendons in both my middle fingers (or maybe I'm a vulgar road rager with an aggressive middle finger? That's the fun story to tell people asking anyway ;)). Anyway, tendon injuries (I've read) need a DOCTOR visit and 6-8 weeks rest. Well, like I said, stubborn man here...so I skipped the doctor, bought these, and have been fairly pleased. While it's difficult to put rock climbing on hold (t's my addiction), these do great work to suggest that I should be healing. The 2 rigid splints are decent; I'll say that it's not as tight and as rigid as it should be for a healing finger, so look elsewhere if you really need a quality splint. However, in weeks 5-8 of healing, I've been using the 2 compression sleeves, and these are magnificent! Hope this helps, especially knowing that really you should see a doctor unlike this stubborn man :) Good luck!

VERY HAPPY HUSBAND (Trigger Finger relief)
Thank you for this finger splint. My husband finally has relief from pain after many years of trigger finger. Price is great, too. He doesn't use the finger sleeves since they don't seem to serve a purpose for him. I would recommend different lengths and possibly water proof material so he can wear them throughout the day. They fit him perfectly on his long fingers, but when I tried them they were too long (and I have long fingers). At night, he wears compression gloves but these splints would be great to wear at night if don't want to wear gloves. I also like that you get two so one can be washed and drying while he wears the second one. VERY happy husband! Update: since my husband has been wearing the splints for a month during the day and compression gloves while he sleeps, he no longer has any pain at all. For YEARS, we have tried everything from surgery to shots and other types of splints. At this time, he has not been wearing anything for a few weeks. I’m sure it’s not gone forever, but going between the splints (daytime) and compression gloves (At night) allowed the inflammation to subside giving major relief. Thanks again! Suggestion: Although these fit my husbands fingers perfectly, different sizes would be nice for others with smaller fingers to get the same relief. 2nd Update: it’s been almost a year since my husband has stopped wearing the splint or compression gloves and he still has no trigger finger episodes. I am so grateful for these products and would recommend to everyone who is suffering from trigger finger. THANK YOU! The combination of splints and compression gloves worked the best.

AAA+++ - great product
Bracing has really assisted with my sprained finger, while still giving access to my fingertips so I can still use a keyboard and access my phone etc.

Excellent for trigger finger!
Splinting and massage cured my trigger finger. The soft wraps support more than expected. I use them for typing. The hard splints are comfortable and really help with healing. Good value.

Really helpful!
I'll be wearing this article for the next few weeks for a tendonitis problem...it's very comfortable to wear and with two I can keep one clean and available for change. The finger sleeves are also comfy and provide some protection from banging your finger the wrong way. A worthy "investment".
