Does what it's supposed to. It's a simple yet very nice quality of life item i needed for my desk. i use an old iPad as a soundboard controller and this props it up nicely. There's no fancy features or bells and whistles, it's a simple and sturdy tablet cradle and it works.

This stand is fantastic. It is small, lightweight, folds up flat and will easily fit in my purse. I read constantly and it is perfect for holding my Kindle Fire. I can use it on a table or on a pillow and it prevents me from getting a cramp in my hand after hours of reading. It also keeps me from straining my neck leaning down to read. The case on my Kindle will stand up but I have had issues on planes with it falling over. This will be infinitely more secure.

I have used countless stands and cases with stands for my iPad. I might accidentally knock a stand on the floor or open and close it too much, which causes the part that makes it a stand to break. Cases, I move the stand too much and it breaks. Not this one. This one has fallen, been played with and accidentally opened too far while I was trying to just find something to watch on my iPad from a distance. It is still holding up! It’s PERFECT! Especially since it has a bunch of different angles.I like that it’s plain, matte and smooth. I was able to apply a sticker to it.

I would rate this higher because it really is reasonably well built, easy to use, and compact, but *the clicking*. Oh my god, I cannot deal with the clicking. Every single time you adjust the angle on the stand it CLICKS like thousand-year-old gears locking into place. I cannot imagine using this in a library or while someone else is sleeping in the next room. It is absurdly loud for what it is. I ended up going with a less compact option just because the clicking was unbearable.

I bought it to use for FaceTime phone calls, but I’m using it all the time to hold my phone even if I’m just sitting at the table looking something up. It’s nice not to have to hold it. I leave my phone on it now and it’s easier to find.Holds my iPad, too. even though it’s in a thick protective case.
