Nice looking, good sound, great value.
Lovely speakers. They work really well, good size and sound. I'm powering them with a unifi powerAmp and it's a great pairing for music and podcasts in my office.

Solid little speakers!
I bought these Edifier P12's to use as rear surround speakers on a 5.1 system and am very happy with them. They sound good and their looks are acceptable, and for the price, I think they are a very good value. Before I hooked them up to the AV receiver, I wired them up a stereo system and played them right next to some much larger and more expensive Polk Audio speakers. As expected, the P12's lacked the low end punch of the larger speakers, but the mid and high ranges were clear and easy on the ears. I then hooked up the Edifiers to a Pro Audio wireless rear speaker kit being fed by a Denon AVR. Front and center channel speakers are from BIC. Overall, the system sounds great after making volume adjustments to the system. I'm impressed by the Edifier P12's and they are exactly what I needed to provide emersive 5.1 channel sound. Two caveats with the P12's. One is the previously mentioned lack of low end capability. Given their small size, you're not going to get much bass from them. And two, they are relatively inefficient. It was noticable when making the volume adjustments for the system, but it shouldn't be a problem for most amps driving these speakers. Overall, I would definitely recommend these Edifier P12 speakers!

The more power the better they get. Wife like the look, whew!....
Good sound for their size and price. Well built. The only complaint is the kind of small speaker terminals. Some of us "audiophiles" use bigger speaker wire for the best sound. They like a lot of power for best results so be warned. Sensitivity 79db is low. They are bassie little guys. Some would say muddy sounding but breaking them in helps relax the little woofers and the bass gets more detailed. In my application they are mounted 8 high on a wall with no shelf so having the extra bass works for me. Their style is wife friendly I've found. Not the average black box look.

Insanely powerful for their size
These speakers pack a massive punch for their little size. You will most likely need up the bass via EQ but these little guys can handle it. They sound phenomenal. Super clear and crisp. For the price these are really hard to beat. Since these don't come with an internal amp every dollar you spend is going towards pure speaker quality and it shows. The wood grain is gorgeous. These speakers look great with either the covers on or off. The only time I feel you'd need to pair these with a subwoofer is if you're into music with lots of sub bass like dance music and hip hop. I listened to the Doom 2016 soundtrack with these about two feet away from me at my desk and WOW. Couldn't believe what I was hearing was coming from these puny bookshelves. If you're on the fence just trust me, buy these.

An excellent buy for great sound!"
These are great speakers with a small amplifier. Sound bars are OK, but you're always missing sounds especially while listening to music. The midrange and highs are excellent. Bass is good, but I did add a small sub-woofer for enhanced bass sounds on music. But for regular TV or music, you can't beat them for the sound and price!

Try them, you won't be disappointed
I couldn't believe the sound quality from these bookshelf sized speakers!! Really good full range and plenty of bass without sounding buzzy or hollow or tinny. I have sensitive ears and really appreciate higher quality stereo equipment. Got these as a gift for my father in law to use with his old school Realistic monster receiver for the front channels, they really filled their huge living room with sound while I was getting the back channels set up. Would definitely be sufficient all by themselves. They sounded just as good as his old school Realistic Mach IIs that he had professionally redone, and that's really saying something! I really like the woodgrain, it looks nice with the maple/walnut wood tones on the vintage receivers. I think they sound better turned to the side, facing to the left and right of the listening space. You might want to pick up extra speaker wire, I found the wire to be a bit short myself, but I like a lot of separation between each speaker. Personal preference I guess. Great value overall! Remember these are passive speakers, not powered, so they are meant to be connected to an amplifier/receiver.

Don't let the reviews or size fool you
I don't normally do reviews on here but these little speakers knocked my socks off! Great sound quality and can handle what ever I throw at them. Great quality and perfect size. Easy to set up, compatible with my set up. All around fictionally.

Rock And Roll With Vintage Electronics
These are nice speakers. Work well with my vintage Sansui AU-D9 integrated amp and Pioneer PL-8 turntable. Sound gets good about 1/3 the way up in volume and gets better the higher the volume goes!
