LG 1.5 Ton 5 Star DUAL Inverter Split AC (Copper, AI Convertible 6-in-1, VIRAAT Mode, Faster Cooling & Energy Saving, 4 Way Swing, HD Filter with Anti-Virus Protection, US-Q19YNZE, White)

I have purchased this product after lot of research.This is my first AC. I'm very happy with this purchase. Cooling is good but it takes around 20 to 30 minutes to cool the room (120 sq.ft). Once the room is cool you don't have to do anything the AI (AC) mode takes care of the rest. Installation was ok but it was not so professional as it was from Jeeves and not from LG. Also there was no safety measures given or taken for the installation guys. They just hang in the 12th floor window outlet without even a rope which is very dangerous. Amazon has to take care of these safety measures for sure.Pros :1. Energy efficient2. AI (AC) mode is very good as it's keeps up the temparature and also manages the electricity consumption3. 6 in 1 covertable option is also fine. But not sure how effective it is. Will again write on this based on my electricity consumption for next 4 months.4. This has 4 way swing which is very useful.5. Sound it lessCons:1. It takes longer time to cool the entire room2. No lights on the remote, it's very hard to operate during night times if we have elders at home3. Should clean the filter often which is not a good option4. Installation should be done with safety measures which is not followed here5. Demo process did not happen after installation6. It's actually 1.31 ton AC but sold as 1.5 ton AC that's the reason it's taking longer time to cool7. Energy consumption in Viraat mode is too much so not advisableBut based on my reasearch if I want to get another AC, I will not go for LG as I see there are other better brands such as1. OGeneral2. Daikin3. HitachiBased on my budget I bought LG with some offers at 37k. Next time will go for OGeneral for sure.

Post delivery technician contacted for installation.Content:(3/5)Coming to box of contents it had split AC and inverter along with a remote and batteries for remote.Installation:As described above, it only has split AC and inverter and no other accessories required for set-up for example stand for inverter or drain pipe, infact plug to insert it a socket.So i would advise you to buy a drain pipe so the water from inverter can be redirected without causing mess. It is advised that your inverter is fixed to wall as it will reduce the chances of damage to gas pipe due to winds hence wall mount for safety. If you have a socket then i would you to buy a plug. This cost me close to 1400 for installation along with GST and 1100 for other accessories.Working:AC is working fine and seems to cool with value for money and lower noise level and comfort. It was many modes and can be changed as required to suit our requirements.Final verdict:I would recommend it but would advise you to order or acquire wall mounts(₹300-1000), drain pipe(200-500), socket plug(20-100) and PoP to close the hole to prevent dust, loss of heat and entry to insects or birds. Incase the distance between AC to inverter is more than 3 mts extra copper wire(1000/m)

This unit is amazing, and the speed of cooling is amazing. Even at lower speeds, the indoor unit is silent so you won’t even notice the blower noise . With different modes , it allows you to cool in different ways while keeping energy costs down. Built quality is premium. The only downside is the AC doesn’t come with Wifi connectivity. Other brands are providing smart connectivity options at lesser price.Very happy with the installation. Location: Pune East.PS: It’s one been only 2 weeks after purchase, will update the review after a couple of months of use.

Product is good. But we buy ac on emi process. At the time buy they gave bank offer for 46999 ac to 43000 with the sbi credit card but now bill genaret to 46000.

Fabulous Ac

Good product. Bought LG considering great direct feedback from friends and colleagues. Carrier, Daikin, Blue Star may be AC pros however have seen multiple issues due to them majorly focusing on their larger commercial consumer base. Its 4-5k more than other good brands, but I bought it for leace of mind.Installation was smooth and fast. Engineering did very clean job. Charges are extra, suprisingly no water drain pipe even though mentioned on the box (paid 150 during installation). Total expenses, adding additional copper cable were just over 3k. Cashback recieved during purchase kind of settled that expense. I bought white cement to fill the wall hole, however engineers used theirs and did not charge extra.Though it has stabilizer free operation for a good low to hugh range, due to my place having 1-2 power cuts per day, I opted for a stabilizer. Go with the one that provides onsite warranty. Costed aroung 1700 (including cashback and discount fron Amazon).Cooling is great, 24-25'C with fan speed 1-2 does sufficient cooling for outside temperature of 35-36.Overall happy with the purchase and operations of 2 weeks.

Product is excellent, beyond expectation. Fast cooling.But installation team is not upto the satisfaction. Team doesn't know about product and didn't give any demo.I complained and later they gave demo through phone only.LG need to improve with remote quality, as there is no backlite on display and no radium on buttons. It is very difficult to use the remote during night.

I can't express my words about this ac. I mean such a fast cooling that my 250 sqf room got chilled in 5-7 mins. A perfect choice if you want to save electricity and faster cooling. I have to check further how effectively it can cool in extreme hot conditions. Overall happy with the purchase and easy installation. It cost me around Rs. 5800 extra for extra 3 mtr pipe and cable.
