Lowered KH in koi pond
Has helped lower a very high KH in the pond. Did the job.

Not used but use seachem products regular. Their neutral regulator is good so this should be the same.

Great for lowering overdosed KH
Does what I needed it to do. Auto doser overdosed KH. I'm using this as directed and my alkalinity is dropping as stated. Unfortunately it's too late for a lot of my sps, but my lps are looking happier. My PH has barely been affected, but I do run an Oxydator to maintain high O2 levels.

Frustrating for me
I've been using deionized water, but I can't seem to get the right GH, KH, and pH using this Equilibrium and Alkaline Buffer. I've tried using Seachem's dosage, but I just can't seem to get it right. Maybe it's something I'm doing, but overall I've found it quite frustrating.

The product itself is great - 5 stars. I use it with Alkaline Buffer as I have very soft water. But beware - the .au Amazon description and main photo list it as 300g. This is actually the small 70g size (the Technical Details lower down the page do mention the smaller size, but it's not the first place you look to be honest) There is another listing at almost the same price for the real 300g version, so before ordering be careful and double check the size. To their credit, Amazon did refund immediately so there is a chance they will amend the error on the site also. Which brings it all back to 5 stars I suppose.

Works very quickly to reduce my town water from 9ph to 7ph. I use about an 1/8th tsp per 2 gallons, waiting a minute until the product dissolves and completes the reduction. I've tried other pH reducers and found this to be the most effective.
