Wow, tough sound!!
I had been searching for a dual exhaust package for my 2013 Jeep Wrangler fro months and found this. After watching some videos of the product (and other brands), on youtube.... I decided to buy the Gibson. All I can say is WOW.... what a sound. It is louder than I thought but, you can make it quiet if you want just by the way you drive. If you are constantly gunning it, it will be loud but, if you have a soft foot, it has a great mellow sound. I have the soft top on my unlimited sahara and that could be why it seems a little louder but it has a great growl to it. It can be louder at 1000-1500 rpm but once you get to speed you hardly know its there...til you hit the gas! Installation was a little harder than I thought. With my wrangler being new, I figured the OEM muffler would come right off....wrong. It really does take some time/muscle to get the hangers out of the rubber grommets (WD40 or CRC works good), but, WD40 will eat away at the rubber over time, Lubriplate worked the best. Installing the new muffler took minutes and with the help of my impact wrench.. an easy thing. Looks good, sounds good and I have a lot of Jeep owners that will ask me what it is and where I got it from. Buying from Amazon saved me a few hundred bucks over Quadretec and similar dealers. It arrived early and was in original packaging, no damage. This is my fourth purchase from Amazon and they are 4 for 4 on early delivery and damage free.

one happy driver
I have had my new gibson exhaust for 2011 jeep wrangler on my truck for about 3 weeks and im extremely happy with it. it took just over an hour to install as i had trouble removing the old muffler from the hangers but its possible with some muscle and wd40 doesnt hurt either. besides that its an easy install i did it right in my driveway and didnt even jack up the truck which is at stock height. it has an awesome rumble at startup and settles down to a nice idle ...on the drive it does begin to droan if you hang out between 2000-2300rpm. it sounds nice when you let off the gas sounding almost like popping and rumbling down. it does increase mileage by about 1-2 mpg but thats only if you can lay off the right pedal because you'll be enjoying the new sound and more pep your jeep will have off the line and passing on the highway. it looks great too with the tips coming out just past the bumper

Gibson Exhaust
Great deep throaty sound on start up. Definitely gives you that aggressive sound you want without it being too overwhelming during the ride. Doesn't get annoying like some have said if you understand that yes..it is going to be much louder than stock. I spray painted it matte black with high heat spray and it came out amazing..dont spend your money on the black one when you can just spray this one if you want a flat black system. The worst part about the install is removing the stock exhaust hangers..after that..installing the new system is a breeze. Excellent product by Gibson. 👌

Great sound, good value so far!
So far this set up is exactly what I was looking for. Just installed it in an hour and 1/2, the rubber grommets were in fact the toughest part. The one on the driver side popped right off, the other was a b$@&:;... I thought I would disconnect the stock muffler first and the one grommet that came off easy and just pry the passenger side with brute force. After 45min I used bungee cords to hold the stock system back up in the original position and the grommet came right off.In regards to sound? Low growl, sounds perfect! I was concerned it might sound pocket rocket like, and it can if you step on it, but it's just enough to hear the jeep but that's not the only thing your hear. I'm curious if my wife will notice the change as I on purposely did not tell her about the upgrade. More updates to come.Power? I don't know if it's just me actually hearing how low the jeep revs at speed, but it seems to have more torque if that makes sense. When I pull out of my neighborhood and gas it like I normally do, I look down and I'm doing 5-10mph faster than I thought. It could just be in my head, but it feels a little quicker than before. I'll update later on any change in mpg, hope that happens.Great product so far for my 2013 jk!!!!

Great product
The media could not be loaded. Great product! Just installed my exhaust as soon as I got it in the mail. Only thing that was kind of a pain was getting the oem exhaust off. I used a grinder and a saw to cut off the exhaust because it was so rusted. Putting on the Gibson exhaust was a breeze. The sound is amazing. Exactly what I was looking for. Not too loud, but not at all quiet. It's not at all annoying when driving, but you can definitely hear it when you take off or gas it.

Gibson Muffler
Removed the muffler after 3 weeks.Sounded good from outside the Jeep but inside very annoying(LOUD). Maybe ok with a hard top.

Loud and not for use with CAI
First the pros: Very Easy to Install, Well made and everything fits nicely. Gibson tech very helpful. Now the Cons: Not for use with any Cold Air Intakes...this was not mentioned anywhere when I ordered this product and installed it. There is small print at the end of the instructions pages that says that the exhaust was tested with a stick system but again no mention that your system should be stock. What happens is you lose low end torque because there is no back pressure which is essential for a proper power band. In other words the system with a CAI and the exhaust is too open. So you step on the gas and nothing happens. I had a K&N CAI system on my 2011 Jeep Wrangler Rubicon Unlimited. I removed it and had some back pressure but still a loss of low end power. I looked this problem up on a Jeep Forum site and it is a common problem. A 12" resonator was suggested to help fix the issue. So I had my local muffler shop add a resonator which helped produce some back pressure and restored low end power. However the system is pretty damn loud and drones like crazy at 2000 rpms. Along with the tire noise at highway speed it's hard to hear and actually interferes with enjoyment of the sound system. Called Gibson and explained the problem. They were very helpful and said the were aware of the issue (well then why not tell people in your literature). They are sending me another Gibson resonator that they say will cure the drone problem...only charged for shipping. So we'll wait and see!
