Metra99-7516B Single DIN/Double DIN Installation Dash Kit for 2007-2009 Mazda CX9 (Black)

Wanted to update the radio on my 2012 Mazda CX9 with an Atoto A6 Pro Head unit. This is what was needed to make it fit, and it was easy to remove the center bar to get in the android entertainment center. Boyfriend followed the videos on Youtube to make it work. Perfect!

I used this Metra dash kit to install a double din Pioneer head unit in a 2015 Mazda CX-9. All the parts fit well and the exposed portion of the trim piece matches the factory trim next to it very well.Some items to note: If you're installing a double din unit (which are more common) then you'll need to cut the plastic bar that runs horizontally through the center of the trim piece. I used a dremel to ensure it was a clean cut and didn't crack the plastic. I this they could have made the trim without the step, or made it easier to remove, which is why I gave it 4 stars.Finally, a word of advice is be very careful about cable management when connecting your new head unit. In the CX-9, the mounting depth isn't that great. The slotted mounting holes will help give some room, but not much.

I received the item. It was a perfect fit and I love the material. The only reason my review is on the low end is because Im missing the large side plastic pieces that screws in the sides of my double din. So now my radio isn't sturdy and it kind of falls into the back of the wall that's behind the radio creating a huge gap that doesnt looks professional at all.

i put this in my 2008 Mazda cx9 using my double din pioneer avix. It fit wonderful and was very easy to clip and shave down the center piece to make it a double din. The bracts all snap into place and took under five minutes to put together and install on radio.

This a a very good quality dash kit but you must cut tabs off to separate single din to open space for double din. Very well worth the money and quality for the price. Would buy again.

Fits my 2007 mazda cx9 perfectly. Youl just need to do some trimming.
