I purchased this because a creator on TikTok recommended it, and I've purchased other products from this brand. Honestly I wasn't a fan of the curl jelly or curl cream at first, but I've since changed my mind. I think this is supposed to be a "dupe" for the Verb foam gel, but Cake Beauty's is so much better and affordable. First, I wasn't a fan of the scent from the other products which is why i held off on buying this, but it actually smells good, not too strong or bad at all. Second, the hold is really good, especially if it's paired with other products (curl cream, and light hold jelly). Third, it foams well, and its lightweight, not watery at all. Even though it isn't watery, I actually have to scrunch out water from my hair before applying. And lastly, my curls are defined and last all day. This is also a good product for next day refresh!

My daughter's hair is coily and very thick! This product works really well on her hair helping with frizz and overall control. It does not weigh her hair down or leave any residue which I mostly love about this product. She likes the smell and tells me how soft her hair feels after applying! So far each time we have used this product, it holds her hair for 2-3 days.

Holds curl and retains the curl next day but with frizzy there is no cast at all but good curl memory just added a bit of oil for frizz the smell is great smells like lemon pie but does not hold scent at all. Was a good purchase to try it out from all the buzz but I wont get again not strong enough for me I have thin 3a hair

I reach for this product + Ecoslay Lemon Buttercream underneath when I want a soft, fluffy curl day. (My hair texture is fine and tends to be volume-challenged.) Both products smell like lemon cake and seem to compliment each other well. I'm extremely fragrance sensitive but this is pretty subtle, so doesn't bother me too much. My wash day longevity isn't as good as when I use stronger hold gels, but for 2-3 days I can refresh with water, a little Ecoslay Lemon Buttercream, and hit with diffuser. My favorite Day 1 wash day results for sure, though. The pic is after 2nd day refresh.

To light of a hold for my hair smells amazing when first in but smell didnt last when dried. Still maintained lower curls

It smells so good I want to eat it 😭 also works great on my hair. Really great foam, makes my hair look amazing!!! Not too sticky at all, doesn't leave that crunchy feel. It's not a super strong gel hold, but I don't want that, I like looking a bit floofy. Highly recommend.

Of course I bought it because of the name and that is pink. This gel to foam is a great go to, very wet for a gel but I don't mind it means it's getting on every hair stand. Nice hold but not stiff like traditional gels. I love the smell, sweet lemony smell but docent over power or stay all day. I have super frizzy curly hair the cake works. doesn't leave a heavy coat on the hair, just a nice hold.

So I wasn't much a fan of mousse, I was into gel for the crunch but my curls would feel heavy.. so I went on and tried this and omg I love the texture the hold and definitely the smell.. I fell in love with this and so did my curl.. I love the pump on it the silkiness on the texture it did not feel greasy at all and holds my curls pretty well .. I'm very happy with it 🥰 gives me the volume I want and holds my curls beautifully
