Recently I learned by accident that I should have been disinfecting my mouth guard every day. I was using toothpaste and tooth powder to brush it but apparently that was not enough and I ended up with a throat infection. Not good!So immediately I got some of these Polident tablets and started soaking my night mouth guard for 5 minutes. These tablets are very easy to use and I put my mouth guard in a little container normally people would use for dentures, with water and a tablet and then turn the mouth guard over at least once during the five minutes with a toothbrush I use just for brushing the mouth guard. That ensures that both sides are super clean.I wear extra thick nitrile gloves while doing the whole process as it is sort of minty fresh. I don't see mint oil as an ingredient, just "flavor" so I don't know! But I realized on the thinner gloves the minty sensation gets through the gloves.Anyways, I used my mouth guard at night and don't notice any flavor of any sort on the mouth guard. Just fresh and clean! I'm very impressed with how well these tablets work in just five minutes!I am not a doctor or dentist, so this review is not medical or dental advice! I just hope to prevent any more throat infections from using a mouth guard. I did not know that could happen and now I'm taking preventative measures to make sure it doesn't happen again!!!! I wish my dentist had told me to disinfect my mouth guard and brush it too after disinfecting! I'm going to make sure he knows that would have been very helpful!~The Rebecca Review

Value for money, taste is good, cleans well

Used this to clean the inside of my electric kettle. It had developed some deposits from the water. These worked perfectly to clean it.
