Perfect little travel grill
Is it the biggest grill? Is it the best grill? No. But its TOTALLY FINE for packing in the car and taking camping or to the beach. It won't smoke a brisket or replace your main grill, but it will grill burgers and a couple chicken legs and some hot dogs outside. It cooks reasonably evenly and gets nice and hot. I,ve used it to grill frozen pizza, tortillas, chicken skewers, burgers and dogs. Its fairly sturdy and it packs FLAT. I wanted a grill for pure portability and this is perfect.

Great camping grill!
Bought this grill for my dirt bike trail riding/racing trips. Most riding places here in the PNW only allow gas cooking as the fire hazard increases when the riding season approaches. We went to the desert 100 race with a small charcoal pit only to find out that we couldn't use it. Everyone else there had some type of gas cooking devise, griddles, pits, etc... Soooo....I bought this one. I've only used it once as I just got it. I put it to the test with chicken thighs, bone in and skin on.Heat distribution - This seems fine but as with all pits you'll have some hot spots. Nothing too crazy on this one though. My hot spots are where the darker chicken thighs are towards the front and one small one towards the back. See the 3rd picture. The pit ran a little hot on low, again nothing crazy but just a bit hot in my opinion, it cooked the chicken pretty quick. Cooked the chicken to 203 F and skin was nice and crispy with only one flip. Kept the lid on it and flame ups were zero and it only flamed up when I opened the lid. A quick spray with a water filled spray bottle worked perfectly. The heat shield/drip shield worked like a champ. I think keeping the heat/drip shield clean will be the key in avoiding flame ups.I didn't time the cook so I'm guessing here. I think it took less than 25 minutes to cook the 4 pieces of chicken. I started with a full little propane bottle and when done I felt like it only used maybe a quarter or so of propane, plenty leftover to do more cooking. Pretty good consumption rate.I didn't not run the pit on high for 10 to 15 minutes prior to cooking! To me this pit gets way too hot for that, I did run it on low until the smoke stopped, I guess it was burning off the manufacturing preservation oil.I did set up a board to block the wind however I took it down after the pictures and the pit did fine, wind was only 2 to 4 mph, so not much.Overall - Great pit so far, I think I'm going to really like it!

Good, inexpensive, compact, inexpensive, easy to set up, inexpensive...
Bought this two years ago on a "warehouse" deal, was even cheaper. Didn't want to carry a larger nicer grill in my small RV all the time. This would be a great to use a lot for a season, then leave it, but it seems to last OK even though it is cheaply made of mild steel.I don't clean it, I just use it.The wire legs fold up nicely, the handles work well. One complaint though, the black coating on the shell inside and outside, I assume some kind of high heat paint, tends to burn on the inside and peel off. I guess as it's burning it's off gassing to the food? I don't know, won't kill me.There seems to be a few grills that look pretty much like this, but the folding wire legs are a big plus as they lock the shells together.Btw, I found this Camco grill bag on Amazon that fits this perfectly, should keep the grill residue contained when I do bring it in the RV.I also got a "warehouse" price on this. Here's the Amazon link.https://a.co/d/eLbWohL

My husband loves this grill. Its perfect for our family of three and fits great on the table stand he purchased with this. We use it on our second story balcony.

Small but functional
I have had this grill in the past and time for a new one. It's a great grill. I use it at least once a week. Don't need a big one. So, I use it at home and travle both. I like how it handles when I travel with it. The handle on top and on the sides are helpful for handling. I have used it camping, parks, and at the lake. I have it four stars instead of 5 because it occasionally catches flame and I have to turn it off because it will burn what I am cooking. I restart and keep cooking. Other than the flames, it's a great lil grill.
