OBSBOT Tiny SE 1080P 100FPS Webcam for PC, AI Tracking PTZ Streaming Camera

don't think twice. the picture quality is amazing and tracking ability is good. if you need higher resolution then you're looking for a production camera! this is truly 1080P with up to 100fps. to me, this is production quality! so many programable features that can be setup via control center. Only regret is not having built in Wi-Fi, however you can still connect through your networked PC. If you go for a few more bucks, higher models do have Wi-Fi. in my opinion this thing can't be beat!

I bought this as a gift for my boyfriend who streams, and he absolutely loves it. The video quality is super clear and smooth, and the AI tracking is honestly really impressive—it follows movement naturally without being jerky or distracting. It makes a huge difference for streaming and video calls. Setup was simple, and it works great right out of the box. The camera itself feels high quality and well built, not cheap at all. Seeing how well it performs, I’m already planning on getting one for myself. Definitely worth it if you stream or want a big upgrade from a standard webcam.

Easy setup and great streaming quality

This is a great camera. The gimble and tracking are amazing, keeps you in frame and in focus like a champ. It barely takes up any space, and you can use hand gestures to turn tracking on and off, and a few other features. The star I'm deducting is for the SOFTWARE ONLY. It's not the easiest, slimmest (there're some slight ads), and it's buggy at times, making you have to restart it every once in a while when it won't switch to tracking from stationary, or when the video feed doesn't show up in the preview window. Full disclosure, I use the OBSBOT Tiny SE for recording through Open Broadcasting Software (OBS) for what will be edited down videos for YouTube, but they're recorded live-to-tape, essentially. It's Streaming-to-tape. For that purpose, it's immaculately good. I've NOT used the audio on it, I have my own mic, so I can't speak to the sound quality, unfortunately. For those worried about getting their webcam hacked, there's a way to put it in sleep mode where it points toward the ground and turns off, and you can keyboard press macro that to whatever you want. It's not the same as having a cover on your webcam's lens, but it's privacy nonetheless. All in all, the OBSBOT Tiny SE is a fantastic webcam with mediocre software, and if you can get over the software bugs and idiosyncrasies, you've got a powerful, powerful tool to work with for livestreaming, recording, and conference calling on your hands and on your desk. This is a very good camera has been working great it's brand new and the software is really good I use it for streaming

I've been using the Tiny 2 for quite a while now, and man it is a great camera, but I was moving it back and forth between the office and the kitchen, and I was sick of doing that. I didn't want to buy another Tiny 2 because it is expensive, and I was considering the Tiny 2 Lite, which is so much cheaper, but still a bit much for me to jump on just to save a little hassle. Then I found the Tiny SE for $99, with a 15% off coupon, what a deal. I did, in fact, pounce on that deal, and I'm glad I did. This camera is 1080P, which is certainly all I could ever need for the office, though I must admit the 4K is crispy in the kitchen with the Tiny 2. The higher 100/120 fps options are cool, but don't seem to be useful for anything. Maybe some people could use this camera for special uses where higher than 60 fps would be helpful, which if so, only adds more value to this camera. At 1080p60fps, this thing looks incredible, especially compared to my other cheaper logitech and anker webcams. I'm telling you, man, these OBSBOT cameras are about the best you can get in a webcam before you go to a proper camera. Some might think this camera isn't worth it unless you really need tracking. I would argue that this camera is worth it even if you don't need tracking, and only think it might be cool to play with (which it is). Hard to imagine one could regret the purchase. Oh, also! With my expensive Tiny 2, I had overheating problems where, in the summer when really hot, the camera would shut itself off. Like, actually too hot to handle. The Tiny SE barely gets warm enough to notice when touched, even after running for hours, so thats good.

I look great on this camera! The immense amount of control with "PTZ" (pan, tilt, zoom) is awesome. The microphones also do a shockingly good job of picking up my voice without too much echo, even though I'm in a small room without much to absorb sound. The problem is this horrible excuse for software. Due to how they coded their miserable remote control, all camera controls can be accessed via shortcuts like Ctrl-Alt-Up, Ctrl-Alt-R, etc. Heaven forbid you use software that uses these keyboard shortcuts. Their reply? Change the other software. Classic. You can "turn off global shortcuts" and even rebind them, but nothing stops the software from responding to these horrible built-in shortcuts, because thats what their stupid remote uses. Thankfully if you turn off "remote control" support it stops listening to these horrible shortcuts. I had high hopes that their overpriced garbage remote control would let me avoid running their software, but no. Idk why the remote control can't just issue the USB commands directly, rather than using miserable keyboard shortcuts. Open source programmers have made their own USB communication scripts that control the remote without OSBOT's terrible software, if you want to figure out how to mess with that. For now I'm just going to leave their horrible software running with the remote control in a junk drawer. At least I can use global keyboard shortcuts through their app. I'm planning to dig into its OSC support so I can use a 3rd party app to control it. Maybe I can even get a phone app that will send those controls or something.

I really like this camera, I have been using the Logitech C920 forever and finally upgraded to this. The software is a bit slow at times with it not detecting the camera. It takes a moment for it to recognize then you have quite a few options for controlling the camera. The camera starts up whenever I turn on my computer then goes into the privacy mode (camera pointed down) I personally really like this feature. I also feel the video quality is great for what I use it for. The tracking is also neat but for my space not very useful. I could definitely see a use for it in larger spaces though. If you are looking to update your webcam this is a great option.

Didn’t think I would like this camera. Just wanted a simple webcam for calls. I don’t stream or create content or anything. I bought it as the price was lower than other “quality” web cams. Also thinking could always return it. But I am delighted with it. Works really well. Takes a little setting up but I love how the AI tracking works. Good solid build quality too. Way better than the built in webcam in my monitor. Very pleased.

Ich nutze die Webcam für vtube in meinen Stream und muss sagen ich bin begeistert Das Bild ist richtig schön und absolut scharf Das tracking funktioniert sehr gut und die dazugehörige app bietet genug Einstellungen und ist sehr gut verständlich Die cam benötigt meiner Meinung nach nicht soviel Beleuchtung wie zb die razor Kilo x die ich vorher benutzt habe Einziges Manko ist dass die App mit zum Beispiel vseeface nicht so gut zusammenarbeitet aber wenn man zu erst das Programm für die virtuelle Kamera startet und dann erst die App der obsbot tiny ist alles gut 👍 Die verbauten Mikrofone der cam lassen sich im der ändern (zu Headset oder standmikro) dennoch finde ich die verbauten Mikrofone recht gut auch wenn es natürlich kein Ersatz für einen richtiges Mikrofon ist . Die gestensteugung wird sehr gut erkannt und der zoom und das tracking reagieren sehr schnell
