Backpack Chest Strap Add on, Elastic Backpack Sternum Strap, Heavy Duty Adjustable Chest Belt with Quick Release Buckle

I love this thing. I am a big backpack guy, and not all of my backpacks have the chest strap, but I really like chest straps when it comes to backpacks. So this allows me to have all my backpacks have chest straps! (Obviously) It works great and fits on any backpack perfectly. One thing I was worried about was that it would be a cheap piece of cloth, but I was wrong, and it is actually very nice and durable. Definitely worth the price in my opinion if you need a chest strap for any backpack. I would recommend maybe buying a few of them if you swap backpacks frequently, but honestly, it's so easy to switch from pack to pack that you don't need multiple. One more thing, it is super strong, and it does not unbuckle on its own. I got in a motorcycle wreck with my backpack on while using this strap, and my backpack slid on the ground for a decent amount of time, causing it to obviously pull on the backpack while I was sliding on my back, and it still did not unbuckle itself. Don't get me wrong, my backpack was ruined, but at least it stayed on my back, which also provided my back with extra protection. (The only reason I bring this up is that I have been in other wrecks before where my strap came undone, and I had to go looking around the side of the road for my backpack lol. I 100% recommend this to anyone needing a chest strap.

These straps work great! I use them on my commuter backpack, and they keep things in place where before the pack was sliding all over. They can slide down the straps a bit, but they’re easy enough to adjust when that happens. Definitely recommend.

The flexibility(clearly stated by the company) was more flexible than I would like. The item works exactly as advertised. I do find the clasps to be a bit weak in the security of the straps- one opened mid-stream under less than intense pressure. Why 4 stars then? Item is inexpensive and precisely what the company says it is. I would prefer a stiffer strap that definitely keeps my backpack on my shoulders.

I bought these because the suspenders on my ski pants always slide off. These are perfect!!! Easy to attach and solves the problem. Super happy!

Found a rolling backpack that was discarded because some strap holders were broken, replaced those and added this chest strip. A bit tricky to figure out - like Ikea instructions! But lightweight, does the job, and was inexpensive.

Originally I loved these straps, they worked well and were easy to set up and adjust. After about 3 months though, one of the clips broke and now won't snap into the buckle. I'd recommend for infrequent use, but I use the straps for an instrument case that gets a lot of use multiple times each day and the straps didn't hold up.

this is a great product. it did exactly what I purchased it to do keep my backpack straps up and not digging into my armpit.

Good overall quality. I like the stretchy fabric. I will be using them as chest straps on the seatbelts on my Powered Parachute. They will help hold the seatbelts together better over the shoulders. I do wish the straps were a little bit longer for larger chested people and when I have a jacket on. A couple inches more would be great. I know they were designed for backpacks but they will work great for this.

I was really looking forward to using this item due to the reviews it already received. Unfortunately, it arrived with a broken fastening clip that rendered the item unusable. I returned it a day after it arrived. I will look for another (similar) item with the hope it will last longer than a few minutes.
