Very solid and easy to assemble.
This product is very turdy and holds my 6 foot 2, 235 lb body with ease. I am happy with this purchace! My only suggestion would be to make it more portable by having the main frame less permanently bolted together... And with my truck, the tongue wasn't long enough to lock in place but it works just fine when parked. I just can't drive with it in place.

Fun van life accessory!
Absolutely love this addition to my micro camper. I have a Promaster City with the barn door configuration in the back. The passenger side door can open and close with the hitch stand in place. It’s really well built and the quick change hardware is a nice touch. Highly recommend this product.

So far, A GREAT BUY!!!
Bought this for a 3 day music festival this past Memorial Day 2014 (Del Yeah!) and it was a hit... both for us and those multiple people who came up to us to give us the two thumbs up.I don't like giving reviews so early especially after just a one time use but I figure I can edit as time goes on. So keeping in mind we used it for only one trip (3 days) ... the durability seems to be excellent. It held both my wife and I (I'm 230) with no problems!! I didn't expect for there to be any problems weight related being that is says it holds up to 250 for each arm.Assembly was easy.... common sense connection ... didn't have to use the instructions, very simple. So far, all in all, I"m very pleased with this purchase and I"m very glad I bought it. I think at the time (back in MAY) when I purchased it it was closer to $160 or so .... and it's currently $134 so that sucks... for me anyway... but for you I'd definitely snag it now at this price. Our next trip that we will be using it for will be next weekend for another (4 day) music festival up in the Catskills, NY. The great thing for me is my wife REALLY liked it as well... you know that's ALWAYS a plus when that happens!! So much so that she even suggested leaving our nice BIG comfy lounge chairs and strictly using our hammock hitch. Wowzers. Something to keep in mind, we like our hanging hammocks that we use for this so this unit works great for them (with that being said, for what this item does - a hanging hammock is a hanging hammock and it works awesome).ONE **CON** TO KEEP IN MIND: when I assembled this and lined the holes up (the two arms to the main pole) ... the 2 of the 4 holes (2 holes on on each arm) didn't quit line up correctly so the [2] bolts didn't fit (couldn't go through all the way). So MAKE SURE you assemble it first before your trip... it came in the mail the day we were leaving so I didn't have time to test it... luckily -- our 'neighbor' next to us at the festival had a tool box in his big rig and had a drill and the actual correct "bit" needed to make holes in metal. How lucky was that? It took like 60 seconds of drilling and the problem was fixed. THE NICE THING WAS HOWEVER, the arms fit so tight (which by the way, you may want to wd-40 them just as a common sense thing to do) that even if I didn't have the drill there at the time, I would have definitely been able to use the Hammaka. The 4 bolts that secure the arms to the main pole are really only there for peace of mind... because technically, they're really not even needed. At least for my unit, because the arms connection is really tight... perhaps if yours fits on easier/a bit looser then they may be more mandatory so your ams don't swivel... none-the-less I use them anyways. So the CON is certainly not a con to where it shouldn't make you feel NOT to buy the unit... in fact I was going to rate this 4 stars but taking my own advise, I'll rate it 5 stars. I trust this will continue to be a faithful item as time rolls ... if I have problems with it I will edit (add too) this... if not.... You can be sure that I'm happily hangin' away!!!! Cheers!

Good quality
Love this stand! Would have given a 5 star review except for the breakdown size. Takes up a lot of room due to the length of the pieces. Great product.

2015 and my wife and I have had so much fun with this Stand
I bought this product April 25, 2015 and my wife and I have had so much fun with this Stand. I do agree that it is aggravating to use the supplied bolts BUT it is still worth the buy, EVEN if you decide to do what I did and go and purchase Round Lock Pins to use in place of the bolts. The supplied bolts have nothing to do with the load bearing of the stand and are only used to keep the upper section of the stand in place. The Lock Pins make the set up and tear down 10 times faster than using the supplied bolts. We use this on both of our Jeep Wranglers and I did have to purchase a hitch extension to be able to clear the spare tire. The extension did not effect the way the stand supported the chairs or my fat self. This is another product that catches the attention of everyone that walks past us when we use it. I recommend this to anyone that enjoys lounging outdoors or that does anything that will have them sitting close to there vehicle.Enjoy and keep Jeepin'!

Not a fan, loose fit in hitch and difficult to transport.
This product could be better made. It rattles and shakes when driving. It’s also made in a way that makes it difficult to transport without it being installed on the hitch. Since it rattles and shakes back and forth due to a loose fit I don’t like driving on the highway with it installed. Kind of a waste for the price

Life of the party!
We get comments everywhere we go with our chair hammock hanging up. Fun to have and easy to setup BUT…. It’s not one for set up & take down several times in a day. (As in travel). You must be strong and nimble to move this device on and off a hitch for storage/mobility as it is heavy and there is no easy way of taking this apart for storage/travel. Too bad it isn’t made with hitch pins instead of heavy bolts that need tools to take apart. Better have a large vehicle for travel to store this or carry your tools at all times. Other than that… I love my hammock chair!!!

OMFG... :)
KUDOS TO THE MANUFACTURER!!When I tell you this is the best purchase I have EVER made on Amazon... I mean this is the BEST purchase I have ever made on Amazon. My ONLY complaint is that the holes in my hitch don't align perfectly to slide the hitch pin in so that makes it a bugger to to put in and take out. I also can't open my trunk door with the attachment on. Also not a big deal. I am not small. I weigh 224 and I feel VERY secure sitting here hanging relaxing and enjoying the sun and the breeze. I cannot wait to take this on the beach. This is an amzing product guys.
