Pacific Laser Systems PLS 3 Green Tool Only

Love the bright green laser point, much easier to see vs the red. Getting older now (49yrs). The old vision isn't the same as it used to be and I find it much easier to see the green dot. Not that there is any problem with a red laser... it works just fine. I just prefer the green. I have alot of friends at work that paid half as much for their Huepar lasers. I didn't trust the quality, reliability and repairability of the Huepar lasers. That's why I chose PLS, only been using it for a couple of months and I love it. The only gripe I have is the case should come with it for free not wack us for another $10. PLS is a premium brand that costs almost twice the price of dewalt lasers and they give you a free hard case. Something PLS should have for the PLS3. I don't want to buy that big bulky case for the PLS5. I want a nice small case that fits the laser exactly and has room for an extra set of batteries. I know I'm being petty, but as the saying goes there is always room for improvement and they don't need to improve the quality of the lasers.

The PLS 3 is a staple for entertainment riggers. I have been using an older version for a decade, and it still works great. But this newer version with a super-bright green laser is even easier to see than my red one. Recently, Fluke bought PLS and has drastically changed the design of their plumb lasers. Everyone I've talked to hates them, so I stocked up on a couple of these while they were still findable.
