Wears smaller than 43.5mm
I looked at this watch once the updated model was released in 2017. Read and watched every review. Reddit and Watchuseek. Still, I was concerned about the watch wearing too large.I tried on the 39.5mm Aquis, it wore too small and seemed out of proportion. The previous 43mm Aquis wore too large on my 7.25 inch (18.4 cm) wrist. I tried it on at a dealer, and walked away. I decided to give the updated Aquis a shot. This 43.5mm honestly wears like a 41mm on me. The shortened and curved lugs work with the integrated bracelet perfectly. The tapered bracelet is so comfortable I forget this watch is even there. I have it adjusted as tight as it can be without constricting circulation. A friend has the black 2017 Aquis and his experience matches mine. Surprisingly comfortable. The fit and finish on this piece matches every Oris I've seen. Excellent. The Sellita SW200-1 runs like a champ. Some purists see this movement as a detriment. My opinion leans in the utilitarian "anybody can service it" direction. For reference, the largest watch I own before the Aquis and believe I can pull off is the Glycine Combat Sub. Didn't have it for the photo. In the photo, the Oris is flanked by the OWC MS-9411 and Seiko SRP777.OWC: 40.5mm case, 51mm lug to lugAquis: 43.5mm case, 50mm lug to lugSeiko: 44.5mm case, 48mm lug to lugIf you're on the fence, give it a shot.

Best dive watch under $3k
There are no negatives about the watch itself. I chose this because it was my favorite dive watch at a price point less than Omega. Upon arrival it is clearly better than the rest of my watches, the catch is those watches are around $400 so it should be clearly better. Are the upgrades worth the almost 4X price increase? No, at this point the upgrades will never be worth the price, at least for me.Pros:+ Ceramic Bezel+ Great Bezel Action+ No Bezel Backplay+ Solid Movement (Sellita SW200-1)+ Engaging Sunburst Dial+ Great Balance of dress/tool Design+ Crown has great usability+ Lume is a nice blue/green shade+ Date at 6 o'clock creates symmetrical look+ AR Sapphire CrystalCons:- Price, a watch with no issues costs a pretty penny- Integrated bracelet limits strap options (this doesn't pertain to me, I love the bracelet. I'll use straps on my cheap watches)

Possible fake until further notice.
Super fast shipping. HOWEVER, letS dive into this review. After owning a previous ORIS Aquis I must say a few red flags popped up when I received this beautiful watch. First was the packaging, the exterior box looked correct but I’ve never seen an ORIS come slightly vacuumed sealed in its case seat. Almost too good of packaging. Second would be the QR code on the registry card. When scanned the QR had a random phone number pop up instead of a direct website portal. I actually called the number to see if it was a vendor but it as a random person that had nothing to do with ORIS or watches in general. Third was the case bezel, too much play. ORIS is no way compared to Rolex in value but they do have excellent build quality so I found it rather odd. Forth would be the crown, the letters “ORIS” should be smooth to the touch. The words on this crown were very coarse and actually gripped the tip of my thumb. And lastly was the model number, it did come up on ORIS’ website as the right watch. However the model was shown to come with a rubber band, mine came as a stainless steel. I do understand build quality may come with slight variations such as Rolex or Omega but this to me had too many. As of now I will say the one I received from this seller is a replica. I will be taking it to a retailer for further investigation.
