I couldn't find these in the usual stores but I need silver to mark on black backgrounds. They work as advertised and I love them!!

I primarily use these to write the voltage and current rating onto black wall wart power supplies at work (the factory printing is so tiny). After years the writing hasn't faded. In general they are so handy to write on a dark surface where a standard black sharpie is hard to read.

We used these for my daughter's wedding. She and her husband wanted a guest book made of vinyl records. These worked great for guests to sign a record (after the vinyl was sprayed with matte clear sealer so the marker didn't run/smear).

I love these. They stand out against anything dark. I've sometimes even used them to paint little projects or models. The only downside is that they rub off eventually if the surface gets regular friction. The Black sharpies do too, but I find the silver wears down a bit sooner. This stuff goes on pretty thick, almost like a paint-pen rather than a marker. Awesome for marking equipment or chargers.
