USAMade 25T SHARKTOOTH DarkStar BMX Sprocket-Aircraft Aluminum Alloy- Made in USA- New

I really like the sprocket! It looks great and I like the design(not so much the teeth) . It's a good combination of strength, good looks and quality. While installing I put in new BB Bearings and New chain too. After I was all done I spun the crank by hand and I was very concerned. The chain was getting hung up on the sprocket likely due to the funky sharktooth design. It hung up badly when back pedaling so I thought it would be problematic for riding fakie( backwards). I rode it around the neighborhood and everything started moving freely, eventually no more hang-ups, smooth. The seller may want to mention a break in period because a hangup while riding can be a hazard. For BMX I don't see a benefit of the tooth design that outweighs the hang-up/interference. I'll recommend it fully and if it fails me this review will be updated promptly. I weigh 200+ and it's on a SE Heavy Hitter. Thx
