Benjamin BABPNBX Pioneer Airbow, By Crosman

This is a awesome new way to hunt, if it is legal in your state. It is highly accurate to 50 yards and about 100 FPS faster than a crossbow . Also makes much less noise than a bow or crossbow. I was able to get 2 bucks from about 30 yards this year. I had an injury that prevented my from using my bow. I already owned a Binjamin Marauder 22 caliber pellet rifle. Having the pump on hand to pump up the airbow was a plus. It shoots best at 3000psi. It's a workout to get it pumped up the first time. As it is has the air tank built in to the rifle you only need to pump it up fully once, then just pump it up again after a few shots. That makes it easy to maintain the pressure you need. This is truly a new weapon unique and one of a kind. It is deadly accurate and an awesome way to hunt ,especially if you have a disability that prevents you from using a conventional bow or crossbow. Important to check the laws in your state on using an Airbow as it is so new that most states are not sure how to classify it. Since it is an air rifle that shoots an arrow. In Texas you can use it during rifle season not archery season. I believe that the laws will allow you to hunt during archery season eventually as it takes the same hunting skills you need with a bow getting close enough to get a shot. It basically is a different way to shoot an arrow using air instead of a srting.

The Airbow is very accurate, but lots of people have said that.The Airbow packs a punch at 1.5 times the speed of a typical compound bow, but that has been mentioned too.The Airbow isn't as loud as a gun, but it's still quite a bit louder than you'd expect. Your neighbors will probably still hear it, and you probably won't silently blend in at an archery range.Now for the nitpicks...1) The quiver holder disconnects in the middle, so if the quiver isn't on the gun, the mounting bracket is still attached so it is just unnecessarily making the Airbow harder to put in a case, and harder to lay flat on a table. It would have been much better if the quick-detach was at the picatinny rail, so the whole quiver and bracket would be off and out of the way when it's not in use.2) The air pressure gauge is on the "business end" of the Airbow. Reading the gauge means you have your face near where the arrow shoots out. You hardly even see toys with a stupid idea like that any more.3) The air pressure gauge is just asking to be broken if the Airbow slides anywhere with that end first.4) The arrow tube sticks out the front just enough to catch on something and get bent or broken. This might be necessary to allow space for a broadhead, but IMO, it should be more protected from damage.To remedy #3 and #4, I made a DIY gadget to protect the gauge and the arrow tube. this thing is WAY more powerful than my Crossbow, actually gives me an issue of my targets this thing goes straight through most targets that stop my crossbow and my Compound bow... I needed 2 tagets back to back to stop the Power of this thing. Took it hunting No strings to tangle in the stand, just cock the bow gun aim and shoot. Arrow made a huge 2'" hole into the Wild Pig I shot AMAZING power shot through the bone-plate and Pig bled out in less than 100 yrd from where shot. What an Easy and fun experience. I Highly Recommend!

Very powerful and accurate. However, the scope that is included is junk. Mine is adjusted all the way up and still shoots five inches low at 30 yards. Also, had two arrows splinter into pieces after shooting them four times but crossman made them good and set me replacements. Over all I am satisfied with the product. Looking forward to changing scopes and busting me a deer this coming season.

I bought an pioneer airbow and it had a leakage so I had to get it replaced. Amazon replaced it but then again that one didn't work. Had my purchase refunded and was able to keep both non working airbows. I sent one into crossman to get it fixed under warranty for free and almost a month later had it sent back apparently in working condition. But yet again still leaking and also pump handle screw stripped. Even though I was reimbursed I don't recommend this product. Completely disappointed.

I love this thing for hunting but the arrows are very fragile and break frequently when hunting. I got this out of my safe to hunt with for the second year and it had lost all compression. It's leaking from somewhere around the fill up point and customer service is a joke. They told me to look at a parts diagram and order the whole assembly but they don't offer any assemblies so I have to order like 20 tiny parts and gaskets. Cheaper arrows and real customer service is needed.

Great product, I am lucky my state allows its use but only during gun season, super quiet and deadly accurate out to 100 yards. it really does deliver 8 shouts at full power and two more if needed prior to the tank requiring refill, hand pump only takes about 20 mintues to refill and as a test I left it full all summore and it held pressure, gauge on the weapon is great.

Regulated Airbow for consistent shooting and accuracy
