Very good unit. Worked with heavy lath and plaster walls when other units I have would not. Easy to use.

It works and finds studs accurately. A little bit pricey though.

Thought i wasted my money when I bought this product but, I was wrong. I bought this after moving into a new house and needed something cost effective. The instructions weren't very clear ( the printing was small) but once I figured out how to use it, I was amazed at how accurate it was. I used it to mount a full motion wall mount for my 75 inch TV. I have no issues finding studs on my walls. Whether it's half inch, 1 inch, 2 or 4 inch studs; it will find it

Not accurate and very inconsistent. I have two other stud finders that are accurate and this one just doesn’t work. It’s wonky and will flicker and incorrectly identify studs. Do not recommend.

Instructions were clear but we had trouble with textured wall. It’s not heavily textured but we kept getting false positives all over wall. Perhaps does some in flat non textured walls.

Excellent stud finder. Has 3 ways to check for electric wiring, pipes and, of course, studs.

I had 3 different contractors try to figure out how to easily make this work and all stated it was junk.

i've used this many times now and it does the job, so i don't have any huge complaints. but i've used other stud finders that i liked more. i feel like this has a little too much going on? i don't like the little "calibration" it has to do when you press the side button, or that you sometimes have to choose a different depth in order to see something. my other stud finders just kinda always worked, without those "features". maybe it's just a personal thing, but i wouldn't buy it again
