When I was a child my mom loved really tacky ugly owl figurines lol. I never liked her owl decor. But now that she has passed away and I see owl type decor, it makes me think of her and smile and laugh. I even bought an owl Christmas tree ornament and bedazzled it with silver sequins and glitter in memory of her. But I’m still not fond of owls, so it has to be really REALLY cute and appealing for me to buy. This mug 1st caught my eye because of the bright colors and 2nd, the powerful inspiration scripture which I can look at every time I drink my tea or coffee, and think of my mom. I know this is kind of a sappy corny review but that’s why I bought this mug. I bet my mom would have loved a gift like this. Cute gift box too! I’ll put makeup or jewelry in it. :)

I love the mug and the box... however the mug does have some imperfections on the design. That I could have overlooked but someone had the bright idea to tape this beautiful box closed with packaging tape! Why ever would they do that?! Why not wrap box in bubble wrap or paper and then tape THAT? The box is bubbled up where I pulled the tape from and has ugly scratches on the sides that were not taped. I bought this for me with the intent of displaying the box. I would be embarrassed to give this away as a gift.

Loved the mug - perfect for friend I purchased it for. Box was just adorable but Amazon packing ruined it. The Amazon description says "Comes with matching gift box." Well, you certainly don't expect them to use packing tape to keep top from coming off! Surprised it made it to my home still in tact. The envelope it was put in was only slightly padded. I've had Amazon pack totally unbreakable items in big boxes surrounded by all kinds of protection. The box top should have been secured by something removable like a rubber band, then the box wrapped in bubble wrap then shipped in another box. Really ticked off!

This is a Very Beautiful, Brightly colored mug that came in its own sturdy gift box, which is just as vibrantly colored as the cup inside. The inspirational phrase inside is legible, clear & easy to read. A very great gift at a good price for your owl fan👍🏽

I bought this mug to replace the one I broke a couple of days ago. My original mug (Birds, psalm 103:5) was bought in a hospital gift shop and it was bright white with beautifully colorful birds. This one that I bought from Amazon is larger, ivory, and the birds are dull and stretched out of shape. It is ugly and nothing like my original. I also noticed a bubble where the bottom of the handle meets the mug so I expect it will break. Knowing what the original looks like this is a huge disappointment.

Now my regular go to mug for morning coffee. Vibrant colors and love the message reminder. Dish washer and microwave safe.

This is a beautiful mug and box! However, I need to say that sturdiness was given a 3, only because the first mug arrived broken to pieces, like smashed. It was packaged well, though. It could have come from the factory that way or stepped on? Anyway, I contacted Amazon and other party. Communication was good. I was sent another mug, which came packaged well and a little more padding was added inside the box to hold the handle inside the slot and it is all ok. The first once must have been a glitch. So, if not for that, it would be a 5 under sturdiness, but in looking at the NEW mug sent, it looks very sturdy. Would make a nice gift. I wish it was a little larger, but it will suffice.

I love the cup and I thought the box would be great for gift giving. However I received the item in just the box no lid. So now I can’t give it as a gift including the box I have to gift it as just the cup. The cup is very nice looking and so is part of the box. I just wish I had the lid to make it complete. Not sure why the lid was not included in my packaging. And I saw nowhere to contact the seller.
