Great wet trimmer with dry trim option.
Trimmer was similar to other bowl trimmers I had been checking out. It’s dry option is what sold me though. I tested it on dry herb that I didn’t have time to trim. It was small popcorn that I was gonna use for tinctures. I ran it through and was very pleased with end result. It did leave a bunch of sift underneath but the product on top was actually usable now. Like all dry sifters, it’s not really recommended for certain herbs as you do lose a lot in process and I expected that. For the wet trim I left on most fan leaves except the big ones I was able to get while separating buds from plant. I tossed it all in machine and ran it for a little bit going both ways sometimes fast others slow. The finished product I got looked much better then if I had spent a bunch of time hand trimming. I did about 3oz+ of wet herb in close to 5 min with machine. In the future this is my go to machine.

Don't waste your money
This item was received and does not perform well at all. It looks like a dog trimmed the buds with their teeth and not a nice clean trim at all. Tried to return for a full refund twice and they keep wanting to send me out a replacement. Don't waste your money. Spend a lot more and get a professional trimmer this is not worth the money

Nice design, strong like bull
This is a heavy hefty made unit. It is not going to fall apart any time soon. I had a large outdoor crop and not enough time to trim by hand. I purchased this and another brand. I tried this one first. I watched many You Tube videos of many trimmers. I like most everything about this machine from a trimming standpoint. It does trim the buds to what most people find acceptable. I have tried both wet and dry trimming and ended up not using the trimming plat even for the semi dry bud. That being said. After only a few plants, I went back to hand trimming for the rest of the harvest. I am just too picky. I want my buds looking the best they can. They are for me! And to share. Here is my thing. I have been growing vegetables all my life. I have always wanted to grow nice looking, table gocking delicious veggies. When you put that much effort into the final product. Be proud, make it look great!

No comparison to hand trimming
I have to wonder based on all the A+++ reviews on here, how the quality of your hand trim is, guys? I grabbed this to save time on quantity of flowers, but have to say that the dry leaves much to be desired. Granted, I tried it on the stuff at the "end of harvest," so they were larfier and smaller, but really - some of you said "better than a hand trim?" Not a chance, unless you're Edward Scissorhands.Yet to try wet trimming, but generally I'm against it. It might be useful for larger buds, but with larger buds, you don't really need it anyway? Not sure will continue to use it but will probably sell it because my trim standards are too high. It was worth a shot. Build quality is exceptional. I don't think any machine could hand trim to my satisfaction.

Great dry trimmer
All and all i really love this product. It does an excellent job at dry trim. Saved me weeks of trimming 1 day. There definitely could be some changes. The socket they provide doesnt get enough bite and strips out the aluminum piece. That piece should be stainless steal. I did notice some aluminum shavings in my sift. I put a washer under the socket and reversed the aluminum piece and it gets a good bite and no more shavings. I also had to tighten all the fitting wich is ok. I also found it easer to just take off the lids. Cause the fingers are hard to line up with the lids to empty out.I had some product with lots of fan leaves and was not getting them off. So i took the dry trim grate out and ran it with out it and it took them off really easy. Then ran on the dry grate. And was verry happy with the end product.I would have gave it 5 stars but i just felt that i shouldn't have to modify anything to make the machine work as expected. Yes i would buy another one. My buddys getting one after seeing how well the product came out. When the moister is propper. You can go through a lb in 30 minutes or so. That sped up once i removed the lids. I hope the helps any one looking for a good dry trimmer. Not sure on how well it works with wet material. But the dry trim is awsome

Quality trimmer!
After trimming by hand for many years I finally decided to buy a machine. I looked at many types, studied the reviews and settled for this one. I am glad I did! It may look like a knockoff of other brands, but this machine is made with high quality material at an affordable price. It's super easy to setup, use and clean! I've been telling several growers I know that it is a must have. Note: it rounds off flowers as it trims, it does not manacure them.

Time Saver
This trimmer is an absolute time saver for me. We can easily prepare a few pounds in a couple hours. It's important to break down the material properly before trimming so that stems are not going to catch in it, but if you are looking to clean up sugar leaves on dry material, it will get most of the work done pretty quickly. I'm impressed at how well it works for the price. We haven't tried it for wet trimming yet, but based on what I've seen, it will probably be great on that too. Nothing will compare to hand trimming, but this will get you to "clean up" trimming very quickly.
