Probably the best spring pocket mattress in this price range. I've had x 3 of these type mattresses from SN over the last 25-30 years, they do the job, 800 to 1000 pcket spring, value for money, decent support, easy to wipe clean if there's spills, heat retention is good, smells ok, functions as expected, lasts years if you look after it and give it a turn every once in a while, my last one lasted between 8 and 10 years.When I go on holiday, all the beds are memory foam, and if they're brand new, they're great, very warm, very comfy, but if they're a few years old, feels like you're sleeping in a hole.

It’s a very comfy, well made mattress that feels safe of chemicals. There were no nasty smells. Relatively heavy so will need two people to manoeuvre. It is less firm than expected, but finding its supportive and getting a lot more quality sleep than on my previous mattress.

I'm reviewing this mattress after one year of ownership. The mattress is great quality and after 1 year is still firm, with no indentations or dips where we sleep, and no roll towards the centre. The edges are also still firm, with no roll. The king mattress is extremely heavy, which two fit gym goers struggled to get up the stairs and even to turn from time to time. We have it on a base of straight wooden slats (no flex), and the mattress feels more firm than medium-firm. Because of that, it has changed how I sleep, it makes my hips ache if I sleep all night as I used to on my side and I have become more of a front sleeper now. To be fair, in this new sleeping position, I find the mattress very comfortable and get a good night's sleep. The mattress is very quiet, no noise from springs as you or your partner move. We find it far hotter than our old mattress, and no longer require an extra blanket at night in the winter. Price-wise, aim for sub-£500 in the sales (around Christmas). All in all, a very comfortable mattress that is wearing well, but it runs hot and is extremely heavy to lift.

A high quality firm mattress with a soft layer on the top. It's very comfortable and has great back support. Supports your whole body. It's not squishy or springy at all. Edge support is fantastic. No squeaking. Very well packaged and arrived on time. The plastic was very dusty though so be careful it doesn't make any marks on your bed, like it did my headboard!.... Luckily I was able to wipe clean. This is the best mattress I've ever had. I previously had a much softer mattress so it's taken a few nights to adjust to my new one.Highly recommend.

Fantastic comfort mattress, pretty dammed heavy and deep.Expensive but well made and well worth it.The £30 Haul away service for the old mattress (same size) DID not happen.The new mattress was lifted to upstairs bedroom by the guys, they DID NOT unwrap it and take away plastic and they would not take away the old one.....as it had not been ''prepared/wrapped''?There is nothing about this, in the info for haul away service...Even though we could of used the wrapper to cover the old mattress , they wanted to be away as they only have 15 minutes to deliver/remove and they were already behind schedule. Slightly firmer than I expected but very comfortable. No more waking up with a backache. The pillow top makes it a bit thicker and heavier than a standard mattress.

This arrived on the day planned and the delivery lads were really helpfulThe mattress is extremely heavy so will definitely need 2 people to move it especially if like me you have stairs to the bedroom it only arrived yesterday and I got a decent night sleep I have an illness that affects my joints so it’s really difficult getting something that is comfortable for me and after 1 night I’m hopeful that this will help me I went for the 2800 springs because I knew it would give more support and it definitely does this I can’t say if it’s value for money because I have to pay whatever something costs to make sure that I’m comfortable but it’s definitely worth the money to me so if like me you struggle with your joints then you will definitely get some rest on this mattress if anything changes I will update my review

I bought this Silentnight mattress in November 2023, expecting reliable quality from a well-known UK brand. Unfortunately, it has developed a noticeable sag in the center after just a few months. The dip isn’t obvious when the mattress is empty, but becomes very noticeable when lying down — which is when it matters most.It has become so unsupportive that it’s now causing me back pain, something I’ve never experienced before with other mattresses. I’ve used it on a proper bed frame, and it’s been well cared for, so this level of sagging is clearly not due to misuse.Very disappointed that a mattress with a 5-year warranty is already failing in less than a year. I’ve reached out for support and hope the warranty is honoured — but based on my experience so far, I wouldn’t recommend this mattress if you’re looking for lasting support or suffer from any back issues.
