The good: Extremely comfortable, great for jogging, good quality, the fit and size are similar to other new balance shoes, breathability good. I enjoy jogging in these shoes and run longer distancesCons: the comfort comes from the softness of the sole which sacrifices stability. Be careful making sharp turns or standing on your heels. I weigh 190, ~6 feet tall.For me the benefits outweigh the disadvantages. I would buy the shoes again.I have only run 25 miles. No data on wear and tear

Fit perfectly, feel great, and look good!I am a long-term NB loyalist, as my arches are flat - and I have looked hard, and have never found a better fit than their X-Wide (4E) shoes. They are perfect.

Great shoes, plush, handsome

The shoes are super comfortable, unfortunately there is a popping sound with every step. It seems the design tread makes a suction to the floor. Pretty annoying.

My favorite NB shoes are the 1080v12 which are no longer offered. This is v14 which is NOT an improvement. They are completely different than the v12. Toe box is not wide enough or tall enough. I returned them.

One of the best New Balance shoes that I have ever bought! True to size. Excellent product! Excellent support on your feet! Truly a great investment! Well worth the money! I recommend this New Balance 1080 sneaker to individuals that are looking for exceptional support and balance for your feet while walking, jogging or running. For those individuals with wide feet this is definitely the shoe for you!

Excellent cushioning vs stability balance! I like that they came in wide, would have ordered Xwide if available but wide is working. I stand all day on concrete and these are great on my knees.
