I'll admit that I didn't get these for their intended purpose. I'm not a mixed martial artist or any type of kick boxer. I got these for my legs for when I'm sleeping. I've got poor circulation in my legs and when it gets colder, they ache something fierce. My family has an extensive history of RLS and my legs get sufficiently jumpy sometimes too. I've found that compression works well and figured I'd give these a try to see how well they worked. Like a charm. They have a great construction to them, the stitching is strong and has withstood all of my tossing and turning and leg jumping. I occasionally wear them around he house and the elastic on the foot cover does provide for some decent arch support.

This product is lightweight and provides adequate protection.The product is harder to get on and take off than I would like. You slide your leg into a tight "sleeve". Prior to sparring it is hard to get on and adjust. After sparring its harder to take off than it was to get on. I give this product 4 stars for doing what it is supposed to do.

These shin guards are great for training and light sparring; probably wouldn't provide great protection if you're going really hard, but the padding is great for light work, and these don't slide around or move. They are tight enough that they stay in place, even when your lower legs get sweaty, or when you take light to medium contact to the shins.

Great! Good protection, light, look good, feel good. Others were asking where I had gotten them. Only minus is they’re not easy to put on nor take off.

Fit perfectly for me like a high quality wet suit / life jacket. Once it's on it never moves or shifts around. I'm 6'2" 195 lbs. and the fit is snug and good for me. Offers enough protection that my hardest kicks on the bag only hurt my ears ;). These were cheaper than anything I could find at sports chalet and the quality is in a different league. Neoprene is the way to go for shin pads.

A tight fit over the foot when you're trying to take them off or put them on but they work really well to protect the top of your foot in your shin when kicking a heavy bag I used these at the gym regularly.

Quite a struggle to get it off, but you have to be aware of that when buying this kind of protectors. Other than that, L size is perfect (177 cm tall), comfortable to wear and no rip after half year of use.

I was looking for a suitable pair of shinguards for silat competitions. I went for this one due to the look most suitable for my needs and the price. The shinguards are a very comfortable fit. I have tried other guards and you get tired due to the weight. These are excellent and I highly recommend them for those looking for a good pair of guards.
