My new favorite ear buds
Prior to these earbuds I purchased a pair of Soundpeats Pearl Clip Pro earbuds that are similar style and thought I should compare these two to see which one I like better. SIMILARITIES -Bluetooth 5.4 -Dual Device Connection -Spatial Audio -Voice calls are decent as expected for this style earbud -Good secure fit - These stay on during workouts way better than traditional earbuds. -Touch controls - I honestly haven't gotten good at using either of them yet. MAIN DIFFERENCES -Driver: SP 12mm vs TF 10.8mm -IPX Rating: SP IPX5 vs TF IPX4 -Playback: SP 24hrs w/ 6hrs single vs TF 25hrs w/ 5.5hrs single -Weight: SP 5.85g vs TF 5g. -Price: SP is a bit more expensive than TF When comparing the specs you would think the Soundpeats are a much better option. While I like them and they were my first pair, I actually prefer the TrueFree B1. As you can see in the pictures the Soundpeats has a larger case and larger earbuds. Yes they have a bigger driver but bigger isn't always better. I think TrueFree bettered the sound of smaller drivers with their sound outlet design (they way its directed in the ear) and their reverse sound wave noise cancellation, the TrueFree sound a bit louder to me. Just from listening to each if I didn't know I would think the TrueFree has the larger drivers. Additionally, with the Soundpeat earbuds being larger and heavier I found the TrueFree to be more comfortable over longer periods of use. The TrueFree being smaller has a more streamlined look. Speaking of comfort when I got my first set I didn't like them and thought they were uncomfortable. I was almost going to return them however I gave them another go around and made some adjustments and they felt comfortable. If you buy a style like this, be sure to give them some time and make sure you have them inserted properly. I also found that if you tilted the Soundpeats up you would lose the sound. Lastly one little thoughtful touch that might get overlooked is TrueFree labeled each bud and the cradles in the case with a red R for right ear bud and white L for left earbud. While this is small touch, I find it useful. For me the winner is TrueFree B1

Maybe Good for You, Not So Much For Me
Fundamental issue I have: when I turn my head 35-40deg to the right, the back of the right earclip touches my head. The back of these earclips is where the touch sensor is. When I'm listening to music, this is no big deal (I like single-touch to be volume up/down, but you can choose this in the app), but when I'm on a call this hangs up, and I can't change that touch control in the app. I don't have this issue with the left earclip, and it's me not the earclips, I actually got a replacement for my first pair and the second pair acts exactly the same. Clearly from all of the positive reviews this isn't something that happens to most people. - Sound is reasonably good: a little dim with the Balanced (default) EQ, but with a custom EQ you can add a lot of V and get some decent sounding mid-bass and treble. Not a huge amount of detail, but it's not bad. The lowest frequency slider doesn't really do anything for these earclips, just no low-bass response. No fancy compensation for hearing response at low volumes, so at low volumes, these sound pretty dull; I listen at about 35-40% volume. - Touch response is good, you just have to get used to touching the back of the earclips, behind your ear. - Reasonably comfortable: I can wear these for a couple of hours with no issues, but I always feel them, I never forget they are there. - The app is quite good: a few preset EQs as well as an 8-band custom, an adaptive EQ that comes from a hearing test (that didn't seem to work right for me), complete customization of the touch controls for music, no customization for calls, and a Movie mode (which I assume reduces lag). - Calls were good, no issues with the other person hearing me clearly, but not much reduction of background noise. - Battery life was good: at about 40% volume, at an hour and 15 minutes I hit 83% on the batteries (on both earbuds, consistent battery life), so you should get 7 hours or so of battery life. For a lot of people, these will be a pretty good budget earclip, just not me.

Worked well for a few charge cycles, then completely stopped working.
Worked fairly well for voice-centric content like podcasts. I have a few other pairs so I’ve only used these a handful of times. After about 5 charge cycles, they are now completely dead and don’t respond to charging. The case doesn’t light up or anything. No physical damage or misuse, so it’s pretty disappointing for them to fail so soon. Nifty earbuds, but they don’t last.

Unbelievably Comfortable!
Ive had these buds now for about a month after first having the Clip C 10's. When I thought the C 10's has maximum comfort, the are even more fabulous! Comfort for me, needs to come first, otherwise an above grade sound is worthless to me. I'll keep this simple. They come with a premium feel case that nicely fits in your pocket, and the feel of these on the ears is phenomenal. I'm probably not the average user, as I spend many hours a day on the phone for Zoom meetings and the like. That's where the comfort factor rules the day. About the sound...crisp and clean from top to bottom! The app is more than adequate to tweak the sound if need be. For a clip design, the bass can boom, and the probably gives me the maximum volume desired, and I have yet to find others like this with volume. Big plus if I'm outdoors, or in the car. The appearance of these is a plus although I'm not a huge fan of the silver parts. I'm traditionally an all black person. They do get people asking the questions however. One last thing about battery and charging. The buds I got have out produced the stated length of time. I do wish for wireless charging as an option, although it's not critical for me. Without having heard of this brand before, I am extremely pleased with their products and will definitely look at other items from them in the future. One last thing....after buying two products, they sent emails to ensure that I am satisfied, and asked if I had any questions. Above and beyond for the customer service crew. Definitely a look is deserved by anyone who is going in the direction of not filling your ears as a standard earbud would do.

Be aware and listen with these clip on buds
I've been using the Truefree B1's for a while now, and am quite impressed. If you're looking for a comfortable and secure way to enjoy your audio without the feeling of something shoved deep into your ear canal, these might just be your new best friend. The first thing that struck me was the comfort. The clip-on design is a game-changer. They sit gently on the outside of your ear, and I can wear them for hours without any discomfort or that plugged-up feeling you get with in-ear buds. They feel surprisingly secure too. The sound quality is also surprisingly good for this style of earbud. While they might not satisfy hardcore audiophiles looking for the absolute deepest bass or the most nuanced detail, they provide a really enjoyable listening experience for everyday use, podcasts, and audiobooks. I also appreciate the simplicity of the Truefree B1s. They pair easily, and the controls are intuitive. Another big plus is the awareness they allow. Because your ear canal isn't blocked, you can still hear what's going on around you, which is fantastic for safety when you're walking or biking in busy areas. It's also great for staying connected with your surroundings at home or in the office. Overall, the Truefree B1 clip-on earbuds offer a great combination of comfort, secure fit, good sound quality, and situational awareness. If you're not a fan of traditional in-ear earbuds or need something that allows you to stay connected to your environment, I recommend giving these a try.

Unreliable Bluetooth
The sound is very good but it loses Bluetooth connection frequently, so it makes it difficult to rely on these when using them for a conversation. Disappointing!

Small package - big sound!
What a nice surprise - open ear bud style, but with a tiny footprint. Had them for a couple months and they are better than expected. Tiny, but deliver great sound. I was somewhat apprehensive about them falling off easily, but so far so great! Haven't fallen off once, and they are so light - hardly feel them. The connect super easy (like all the TrueFree products) and the touch controls are responsive. Love the tiny form factor - throw the case in your backpack, sling bag, purse and you're off - just have an extra pair of earbuds for whenever you might want to listen to your music or podcasts wherever you are. The microphone works great on phone calls. I think these are great for doing stuff around the house, jogging, errands when you don't want to be 'in another world', but still listed to whatever you want to. Grab a pair and give them a try - you won't be disappointed.

Decent cycling earbuds
Discovered these from a YouTuber. Tried on a whim and was pleasantly surprised. Sound quality is decent for how open they are to outside noise. Wind noise isn't too bad either. I was considering the shokz line of headphones before purchasing these but I don't think they would be much better to be honest. The only con is the touch control. It's garbage, but what do you expect for the price? I get around this by having my head unit control song playback via the Di2 shifter buttons. I don't have to interact with the buds at all which makes this the perfect solution for me.

Weiterhin: absolute Empfehlung!

Excellent product
Very good sound when use within it's limits. There is some distortion when the music is too loud and complex. Very good sound effect. Excellent build quality. Had been using it while cycling and the hold is excellent and doesn't drop off. You can hardly feel them on your ears after a while. Highly recommended.

My most used and appreciated earbuds - just get a pair.
Had a pair for about 6 months now. Just get a pair. You will be happy with them for their _intended use_ as open ear, comfortable, wireless ear buds. A bit awkward at first to get used to but once you're over that initial new way of wearing earbuds, i totally forget I have them on sometimes. They just sort of rest on your ears, not in your ears, so you're not getting ANC out of this. You can still hear the world around you. This is an important consideration - You CAN still hear the world around you, and in a very noisy environment, they might not be loud enough. I still have a pair of in-ear style ones with ANC for flying on a plane for instance. The app for controlling them is useless, but it's not like I actually need it. It's not like I'm turning ANC on or off or need special sound effects (it does not have ANC, it can't as it's open ear). I'm not an audiophile but listening to podcasts the audio is great and general music listening also good enough for me. I'm not trying to zone out with these things I'm trying to have some nice personal background music. Battery life is crazy good, I don't think I've ever had an earbud run out of power. Earbuds are independent so you can have the left one in or the right one in or both. Since one is not the master you can actually put one in your ear and your partner can put one in their ear and you can listen to the same thing without having to be right next to each other, just within Bluetooth range of your phone / computer / etc. About to buy a second pair for my partner.. (Update few months later, she loves it. I ordered a 3rd pair during sale, just to have around if the others break).
