Pyle Video Capture device works great for streaming all kinds of video sources
For the most part, I'd consider this product to be plug and play. I have had success with video streaming using both a Windows 10 PC and a MacBook Pro (Catalina 10.15.4). I have struggled with figuring out how to stream audio along with the video on my Mac. I am using OBS on both of my computers.

Great video capture without having to spend $300 plus.
I'm an actor and I've had a backlog of shows I've done that have been in trapped in my DVR. I needed to get them into my computer so I could start building a reel of past work. I did a lot of research and landed on this product. Honestly, I wasn't expecting it to impress me I was just looking for something that could get the job done. Well, I was pleasantly surprised. The product worked perfectly with no issues. After I connected it to my computer it was recognized and ready to go in about 40 seconds. OBS found it without trouble. Sound and video quality were great! I couldn't have been happier. This is a great product, for video capture. I can't speak to it's live streaming features as I have not utilized them.

Picture is grainy
It was easy to use but the pictures were grainy, I had HD 1080p movies, Transferred to my computer with HDMI fro camera to converter to USB. Got very bad results no matter what program I used, even the OBS Studio they recommended. I think I'll return it.

Product was easy to set up and worked right out of the box as described.

Great For Getting Your DVR Recordings Off The Box For Archiving
I use this to record the Dish DVR recordings from the cable box to the pc. For this to work unplug the hdmj cable from the TV and into this device. You will have to download and use OBS Studio or something similar and may have to adjust the settings. And you will have to let the show play entirely. Don't press any buttons on the remote or anything. Also test the recordings out to make sure the audio and video are in sync. You may not never get them entirely in sync but you'll get to barely noticeable
