I've been several hours over 3 days trying to figure this one out, none of the buttons seem to respond and there is no information as to how to get it to work. It is not intuitive and it is not clear even what the game is or how it works. It seems to rely in part of touch screen which isn't too great but then it takes you into a submenu and nothing responds anymore. Have played most of the civ games over the years and love civ 6. Thought I would invest in Civ 7 and put it on my switch as I've got a couple of long haul flights coming up and normal Civ would be perfect.So dissapointed, UI is terrible, far too much text on screen, no where near as many variables in game play as six. The biggest thing for me was that there was no mention that on the switch version you can only play tiny or small maps!!So massively constricts the gameplay and the penalties for having too many towns!!Really not happy with it and feel ripped off.I'm gonna try and keep going but I can see myself going for something better soon..

Buttons just do nothing. Game tells you to choose the cell to expand the city, but it is not possible to do so. I don’t know how they could release such a game. It just does not work.

I have played civ since 1995 - find this version to be very dissapointing, from the terrible ui, poorly explained mechanics to the design which I suspect has maximum profits - more ages = more civs needed = more dlc = more moneyOf the 4x games available at the moment this is the weakest, civ has gone from trend setter to weak imitator at best
