Sweet Pops,48ct,30 oz

These Charms sweet pops are great. I am always grabbing on when I swing into the gas station, so I thought it was be more cost effective to just buy a box to have on hand. I'd say about 90% of the pops in the box were fine. the other 10% had cracks or broken pieces. It doesn't bother me though. They still taste the same. However what really pleased me was when I looked at the ingredients label. It was the first time I had an opportunity to see it, since buying a single sucker at the gas station doesn't come with a list of what's inside it.I usually just always eat the suckers that are not green, orange or yellow, since most food brands use the food coloring Yellow #5 to make foods in these colors. I have a food sensitivity to Yellow #5,, which causes abdominal pain. Many people have this and don't even realize it's the food coloring in the food that's causing them issues. The way around this for food companies is to use Tumeric or some other natural yellow food coloring. However most candy companies use the cheaper Yellow #5. Charms did not take the cheap way out and is making their pops with Tumeric for the yellow coloring. I was so pleased with this, because it meant I could enjoy all the Charms flavors, not just the red, blue and purple ones. My box had a good mix of flavors (tons of orange, so I must have gotten all the ones that should have been mixed into the other reviews boxes) and I plan to reorder them again when I've run out. My order did come in the Charms box, not in a bag like someone else mentioned theirs came in.

I was a little reluctant to order these after seeing so many reviewers gave this product four or fewer stars...until I read the reviews. Broken candies, not much of a variety. Yes, some of the were broken. But come on, they are hard sugar candies. They will more likely than not shatter like glass if dropped in shipping. And the factory is not likely going to have someone painstakingly sort out equal amounts of each flavor to be sure every customer gets a full and fair variety. These are mass produced candies! My package arrived in bubble wrap and some of the candies were broken, but not a huge amount. I definitely had more razzle berry than other flavors, but overall I had a nice variety. And the box said there were 48, but I actually got 49! No, these were no picture book perfect, but I knew I wasn't ordering fine Belgian, hand-crafted chocolates. I ordered inexpensive lollipops that are the same sweet treats I remember enjoying as a kid while spending summers sitting under a tree reading my favorite books. It's taken me many years to find them again, but now that I have, I plan to spend this summer eating them and reading on my porch! Thank you for helping me recall some good memories and helping me to make new ones! I'll be ordering again in the future.

Horrible variety. Only received 1 grape and the grape happens to be my favorite. I will not be purchasing again from this vendor.

I grew up eating this candy and I still love this candy. It is delicious.

Awesome lollipops. They are an old fashion kind of candy and the flavors are all good. I like that there are more cherry then the other flavors. I think most people prefer cherry so I can understand why they would put more of that in each box. The cotton candy flavor are really awesome as well. A few usually come broken but that is also understandable as it is being shipped. I just open the broken ones and put them into a bowl. just as yummy! Even if 6 or 7 come broken it's better then buying lollipops form the store that are not as good, and I never see the charms brand sold in any of the stores I have checked. Ten bucks for 48 lollipops you can beat it. Totally worth it.
