I was having a lot of fatigue and tiredness, and my last labs showed low iron, low B12, and low B6 - but not low enough to go on a prescription med regimen. I've had to have iron infusions in the past for iron-deficiency anemia and poor absorption, so I take this very seriously. I looked for a product that would absorb gently, as my digestive system does not always react well to iron. Carbonyl iron seemed to fit the bill, as your body will only absorb the amount that is needed. I really appreciate that this is formulated with B vitamins for energy, and that they are in the forms that are recommended for MTHFR folks, as I am heterozygous for that mutation. I needed the B vitamins anyways, so that's one less pill to take!I have trouble swallowing pills, so I appreciated the small, bullet-shaped form factor, and found it quite easy to swallow - unlike some other iron pills I had tried. In addition, it's a capsule rather than a tablet, which is good for absorbability.I did find it was best to take this pill after eating, as there was some nausea after taking it on an empty stomach. However, be careful what you have eaten, as it could interfere with absorption. Vitamin C-containing products help with absorption, but oxalates (i.e. spinach, potatotes, nuts), dairy products and anything with calcium will cause the iron to be less absorbable.This formulation is inexpensive, and within a few weeks I noticed my energy levels started to improve. I'm not tired anymore! I haven't yet had a blood test since starting to take this, but I expect I will find better numbers. I highly recommend this product for those in my circumstances.

I have chronic Anemia and require supplements daily. I take a multivitamin that contains Iron plus I need an additional Iron tablet to get enough Iron into my system. Most Iron tabs have a strong, bad taste to them and frequently cause nausea. I was perusing the supplement section, trying to find a new Iron tablet. I came across this NutritiPure Iron Complex Supplementand was happy with what I read so I made the purchase. First, it comes in a capsule form. It's fairly easy to swallow and has a mild taste to it. It contains additional supplements which go along with the Iron, helping it metabolize in my body. It doesn't cause nausea and only requires that I take 1 capsule a day. The best part is that my lab work came back within normal limits, which makes me and my doctor happy. I will continue to take this capsule and recommend it to others.

I have pretty bad fatique problems since working at home and starting grad school. I bought this for a boost and it works almost instantly. Easy to swallow. Not nearly as bad tasting as 90% of the supplements out there. Only con is you get some rancid burps for the first hour or two after taking. Nice that it has a vitamin C additive amongst other things as qell. I would/will buy these again.

Honestly, I don't take the iron pill very often because it makes me burp and tastes very earthy, like grass. I cannot comment for any change in my fatigue or energy level because I don't take it regularly. I have found if I take the capsule before bed that I don't burp at all but I just don't remember to take it. I have used other supplements that digested much easier and would not recommend this to those with sensitive stomachs.

I take this product for the type of iron it has, from carbonyl, which is the most readily absorbed. But that it also has the best kind of b12 for absorption is impressive (methyl something, I’m not at the bottle now). They’ve done the research apparently to know which vitamins are helpful in assimalating iron, and I’ve read that for many, those who are low in iron tend to be low also in b12, which I am. So my hat is off to these folks in providing a well thought out product of quality. Thank you!

This is an excellent product! I was sceptical at first because I usually do not tolerate capsules well but this product did not negatively affect my stomach. It helped with my energy levels and complemented the iron salts that I take daily. I have placed another order.

This is iron Carbonyl and is the best form of iron to take. This does not cause an upset stomach. Easy to use and effective.
