Classic Provisions Spices Oregano, Mexican, Whole, 3 Ounce

Even our little bodegas here in my part of Boston don't have Mexican oregano. And it was recommended to me by a couple cookbooks.I sprung for this, but it's so much oregano, I will certainly throw most of it out as it goes stale!But the flavor is a bit different. Perhaps I'll try to find seeds and grow it on my balcony. I am just never going to use this much in a timely manner.Good product, but I wish I could get it in a smaller quantity.

The oregano has such a strong and wonderful flavor. I have to break the leaves up with my fingers when cooking or using as a garnish, which is a little more work but its worth it because it brings out the true oregano flavor. Smells wonderful too.

I purchased this with a coupon for Prime Pantry. It is a good quality product that is available for a great price with a coupon. It's a very large bottle, so only purchase if you use a lot of oregano. Otherwise, enjoy!
