Worth the effort!
I bought this for my two grandchildren (1 1/2 & 2 1/2). They absolutely love it and that made my world a better place. Now for the details:Have the right tools and you will be able to put this together in practically no time. I did it myself (57 y/o Granny) in a total of about 7 hours. Up, secured in place and ready to play. Disclosure: I am more used to building/doing than many in my demographic but that's besides the point. Two people would have no trouble whatsoever. One person can do this if they tweak method. Ex: when putting the swing pole and "A" framed end together (this is the first step in process) you can lay end pieces down on flat surface and stand pole upright to put those parts together. Yes it takes a little work but it's doable and it gets you onward to next pieces.So... haver the right tools. A RUBBER MALLET IS A MUST HAVE IN MY BOOK.After you get the tower together and it's all where you want it and you are putting the "A" end and pole together with the tower....I had a little trouble getting that pole in due to a ridge of plastic inside molded tower frame hole. Not a problem. File it down or shave it with utility knife. Use the rubber mallet, if needed, to get the pole into the opening for it. IMPORTANT!If you do need to use mallet (I did), make sure you hit the "A" up top where the bolt is, not on plastic! This was special gift for my grands. I am very happy I chose this item. They will get 4- 5 years playing with it easily. And I seriously doubt that will be the end if this item's lifespan. They had a blast and their surprised faces were truly priceless. Yes, if you can, buy it.

Be ready to make adjustments
Make sure all the parts are right before putting it together. We had to go back multiple steps to hammer a 90 degree corner in the bracket because it was wider and caught on the pieces that sandwich together to make the side piece. Also had to sand down inside the hole to attach the swings to the slide because there was a seam that prevented the pole from going into the hole to secure it. With the in field modifications it took the 2 of us about 3 hours to assemble(probably would have knocked off a half hour if the pieces were all right from the get go.) Which is why I dropped a Star. Otherwise our daughter seems to really like it and it seems sturdy.

2 year old loves it!
We bought this as a birthday gift for our 2 year old. The swingset is the perfect size for her and I think she will be able to get several years of use out of it. Right now, we have installed the Little Tikes toddler swing seat in place of one of the swings. The Little Tikes seat works great with this set.The assembly took my husband and I about 3 hours spread over 2 nights. Instructions were clear and easy to follow, but we had some issues with inserting bolts in several steps due to excess plastic from manufacturing. We ended up have to use sandpaper to remove some of the excess plastic so we could secure the pieces. The biggest headache was our set arrived with NO hardware. All the bolts, screws, everything was not included. Thankfully, Pam from Amazon helped me contact Step2 and they were able to overnight the necessary parts to me.Overall, we are super pleased with our purchase and even more pleased with seeing how much our daughter enjoys it.

Comfortable
This game is very good for my one and a half year old granddaughter, and it is very easy to assemble the size very well, the only thing is that we had to buy another class of chairs for the swings because the ones that it brings are not for small children, a little expensive for the size, but it is very elegant and comfortable.😃

Happy with purchase - install tips!
Several reviews made me hesitant to order this swing set for our daughter but I'm glad I did. Our experience was quite different than a lot of the reviews posted. This took my husband 2.5 hours to put together (not the 5+ I was expecting). I helped briefly but wasn't needed so this is totally doable for one person to put together. His feedback on the instructions is they're not stapled together and the page order isn't clear but just follow the steps in numeric order and they're fine. Tools he used that weren't included: Phillips screwdriver, hammer, and crescent wrench (instead of the socket wrench it called for). Also used the supplied Allen wrench. We got this for our 10 month old who loves to swing (ordered the Step 2 Infant to Toddler Swing separately). This is the perfect size for her to grow into for a couple years before we will upgrade. Small footprint, well made, good color scheme, and an affordable option.

Perfect for kids
This is the perfect swing set for young kids. It’s pretty sturdy, size is good especially for young kids, fun will be had by the kids. Holes did not always line up making it hard to assemble at times. Value for money definitely worth it

My two kids love this playset
My two kids love this playset. We purchased it when they were turning 3 and 1, and now they are about to turn 5 and 3. We did purchase an infant swing for our younger child, but have since put the standard swing back on. It is real easy to change them out when our oldest had other friends over that wanted to swing. I was concerned this would be too small for them, but it is just the right size for us right now. We do plan to buy a much larger play place and sell this one in the next few years. I do not have this anchored down since we have it on the grass and need to move it to mow the lawn. Even with moving multiple times it has held up real good. Without being anchored down it does "float" some when kids swing the same direction, but it has never come close to tipping over.
