Why does it cost so much, because people are scalping this action figure which can stil be found for $19.99 at Hasbro Pulse?

I can only answer for us, not everyone, but our pricing is based on acquisition cost from the Distributor (includes product cost plus shipping to get to us), then our price varies on the platform we sell it on to take into account sales fees. We keep our prices consistent by platform for items, even if something is seen as a "hot" item (such as Snake Eyes here who we had to do subsequent orders for), so even if we see the sale price increasing (or decreasing!) our prices remain constant taking into account the costs as described above. Is he really an American Hero?!... well, If you have vast imagination, he could be any hero. Or the Villians hero for that matter. BUT, I would think that if he fought on America soil for the goodness of the American people, captured our hearts as kids in an American cartoon series as an American hero that fought against the Evil forces of Cobra that tried to take away freedom using force and rule as an evil monarch, protect against foreign invasion and restore peace, that these brave acts would make him an American Hero Icon.... So I would say yes, in short, he is. But you can always use your imagination.
