Excellent product for post-surgical wounds and recommended for elderly patients susceptible to infection.

This product works well to keep bacteria and microorganisms from growing in and around a wound. It's antiseptic properties also make it ideal to use pre-surgery. Be sure to leave it on the area for 2 solid minutes, as it bonds with the skin to form a protective barrier. The active ingredient in this cleanser is Chlorhexadine Gluconate...CHG. If you are caring for a wound, be sure to use other products that are "CHG compatible", or you might break the protective bond you've created. I have very sensitive skin and have been using it for regular wound care for years with no adverse reactions. Buy it now because the price keeps increasing!

great medical grade cleanser cleared up my dogs yeasty belly funk right away with monthly bath use I made @ 2C of 1:5 dilute and soaked a washcloth &scrubbed it onto his belly & inner legs until it was gone... let it soak while I scrubbed the rest of him w a 50/50 mix of regular (oatmeal dog shampoo) & another antibacterial/anti fungal dog shampoo ... cleared up his stinky yeasty belly (black, thick, stinky underbelly funk) completely with 2 baths in 2 weeks, and with monthly treatment baths is keeping it away

We purchased this item for post-op procedures which required germ free handling for bandages. We have found numerous uses for this germicidal wash in and around the sick room: i.e., disinfecting used dishes and undergarments. The amount is generous for the price, and well worth the cost.

Absolutely love this stuff! I have multiple auto immune issues and this stuff makes sure I keep away bad bacteria. It has been great for my underarms after I shave, really cut down on irritation and skin discoloration

It’s a great product. Heads up, it is watery, that was a sock to me at first but does the job well.

Since I was a kid I have had a battle with boils in all "intimate" areas on my body. As I've reached my late 50s the problem is worse. After trying various "antibiotic" soaps I tried this - which I'd only used once before as prep for a surgical procedure. One caution - as noted on the label, it does irritate my sensitive skin so I only use it every 2-3 weeks, but I find that for at least 1 week after I get virtually no boils. Carefully follow the instructions - I'm still looking for the right interval to wash with this but I'm pleased so far. This was a good price too.
