Alice Madness Returns - 18 Inch Steel Vorpal Blade Replica

The media could not be loaded. For fans of the twisted take on Alice in Wonderland explored in American Mcgee's games, the Vorpal Blade is instantly recognizable. This replica is well crafted, hefty and solid! Almost like it came from the Jabberwok's skeleton itself.Now, this is not the original Vorpal Blade released when Madness Returns was new, but unless you have that one in hand, I doubt anyone could tell otherwise.The blade is packaged in a thin, blank black box, within its own plastic bag and rubber tip guard. It also has a wooden stand (in 3 parts, with 3 Philips head screws) to display the knife. There is a faux cutting edge along the blade, that could be sharpened if you so desire.The entire knife is metal and the stand is wood. It has been etched with a floral/vine pattern to replicate the in game textures and it looks phenomenal in person.If you or a loved one is a fan of American Mcgee's Alice in Wonderland, this is a must buy!

Beautiful rendition, great detail. My wife loved the two Alice games (American McGee).Got this for her thinking it would be a cute little cheesy replica but WOW! This thing it legit. Again the attention to detail from the game is unreal. 10/10

This prop knife from Alice Madness is awesome. The blade engraving detail is lovely! The prop is hefty. So hefty, in fact, it split the the wood cradle for the blade on the display base. The quality of the base may be more to blame? I was able to repair the cradle.The blade is not sharp, actually, far from it. It is prop dull, but pointy. Regardless, convention security won't allow one to carry it into a convention hall.I haven't tried, but I believe the blade may accept an edge, if one were so inclined.

The knife is BIG and has quite the heft to it. It does come dull but can be sharpened if desired. The stand sucked and broke on me the second day of having it. But overall, it's a pretty damn good replica and worth the price if you're a fan of the game.

This thing is heavy!!! Everyone keeps saying their stand broke but mine is very sturdy with no problems.

When I saw this knife’s detail & quality at this price, I knew it was love at first sight. The engravings are BEAUTIFULLY done and it came without a single scratch or imperfection to the blade. It was sharp, sexy, large, AND the blade’s handle is super comfortable. The weight of the blade is just the cherry on top… this thing could absolutely be sold at such a higher price if they really wanted to do that.Get it! It’s the perfect thing to add to your collection.My only qualm is with that goofy wood stand. Mine arrived without any hardware so I just ended up ghetto gluein’ the thing. We big resourceful out here in the dirty south, baby. Stay safe and stay sharp!
