This Gamma is of good quality in a nice plastic case. Fan can be a bit noisy, but not excessive. Easy to setup. Hashrates on average 1.2T/h. Still waiting for that solo BTC 🤞.

Lovely starter decide, people moaning about the fan noise… just go to settings and lower the speed… by default it runs at max, this is not needed even at 40% speed the temps stay low, I advise this is good item and simple enough for a first time mining user, plan to upgrade soon

Easy to set up and modify settings in the AxeOS. Can be a little noisy when running the fan on high or auto settings so you'll want to play around to find the right balance of noise/performance. Has been running continuously for a few months without issue. For people who want a no fuss lottery miner this is a good option.

Excellent little miner & great value for money. Really simple to set up, I had it connected to my Umbrel node using DATUM in no time at all without any issues. The design of the AxeOS is intuitive and has all the features you'd expect. The PDF instructions that you can download using the QR code are brief but easy to follow and tell you all you need to know to get it connected to your router. Love it, I think I'm going to have to get another one!

Set it up properly with custom efficiency tuning and monitoring — got it running at 14.5 J/TH at 600 MHz / 1060 mV with proper thermal management. When all four ASIC domains are working, it does what it advertises and the open-source ethos is great. Unfortunately my unit has a defective chip. Domain 2 of the BM1370 repeatedly fails, dropping to 0 MH/s while the other three cores continue. Restart fixes it temporarily but it dies again within 30 minutes. Documented 10+ failures in a single 12-hour window. Always the same domain. Hashrate craters to ~890 MH/s and efficiency tanks to 18.5+ J/TH whenever it happens. The product is good in concept and the community is solid. My specific unit has a hardware fault, so I'm returning it. Hopefully a replacement unit performs as designed.

Great little miner. Very powerful & does exactly what it says. Very interesting & fun. Emailed DVT with query, & they replied in minutes with help.

Easy to configure and use but it is definitely not silent. The automatic fan control is more noisy than just setting it and leaving it but I can hear it in the next room. If noise is an issue for you, then look elsewhere.

Easy to set up fan quiet

J'ai installé ce mineur solo en moins d'une demi-heure. J'ai un peu galéré pour parametrer le wifi en 2,4 GHz mais c'est a cause de l'interface pourrie de ma box Free. Je suis très agréablement surpris par le faible niveau sonore de ce boitier qui par ailleurs est d'une fabrication robuste, et très discret sur mon bureau. Le tableau de bord est très lisible depuis l'écran d'ordi ou sur le smartphone. Un petit objet pour geek assumé avec plus de chance de toucher le jackpot qu'au Loto. J'adore !

Dieser kleine Miner ist wirklich einfach einzurichten. Ich verwende ihn für Solo Mining. Natürlich ist es nur ein Spielzeug, aber es macht doch Spaß. Man kann die Frequency und die Core Voltage einstellen. Dazu die Lüftergeschwindigkeit. In meinem Netzwerkschrank habe ich etwa 26°C. Ich hatte ihn nach dem Auspacken auf 60°C gestellt. Der Lüfter lief permanent auf 100%. Die Hashrate schwankte zwischen 0,8 und 1,1 TH/s. Also ziemlich unbefriedigend. Ich hatte noch die Arctic MX-6 hier und habe die alte Wärmeleitpaste durch die von Arctic (ca. 8€ bei Amazon) ersetzt. 5 Minuten Arbeit. Jetzt habe ich die Einstellungen auf maximum gestellt, die Temperatur auf 60°C. Jetzt läuft der Lüfter auf 50%. Die Hashrate schwankt nun zwischen 1,3 und 1,6 TH/s. Also würde theoretisch noch mehr gehen, aber ich lasse ihn jetzt erstmal so arbeiten bevor ich wieder rumexperementiere. Insgesamt bin ich also super zufrieden und werde die nächsten Tage Mal schauen was ich noch so aus ihm rausholen kann.

Running like a champ for weeks now, excellent product! The Gamma is probably the most energy-efficient in-home (120V) BTC mining solution available at about 20W/1.2TH/s (i.e. 16.67 J/TH), and not the best but still reasonable initial cost for its performance. Very quiet fan, easy to use and configure, handy mini display for basic info including configuration SSID and status IP using HTTP. Uses stratum+tcp as expected, I got it communicating with both ckpool.org and my own local proxy, no issues at all.
