Great little air fryer!
I don’t normally do reviews, but we looked into air fryers for a good while, before buying this little crispy thing! So maybe we can help you to decide? New houses are very small, (unless you’re rich, but we aren’t!) so space, particularly in the kitchen, is at a premium. So an air fryer is just a little oven? So we thought? Except it’s not. It’s a lot more than that! Most air fryers take up a lot of worktop space, even the one stacked two draws high, this put us off buying one. No room, they get in the way. But the Ninja Crispy is very compact, and you can pack it away. This is a massive plus point. The glass cooking containers are way better than any plastic draw, end of. Easy to clean, does the job, every bit as good as the much bigger, more expensive fryers, even those made by Ninja! It’s a great little time saving, crispy cooking, all singing, all dancing little thing, that we now use every day! It’s a well made, well thought out, modern day cooking miracle! And well worth the money! So what’s wrong with it? Why not five stars? Well, if there are more than two of you, it’s not big enough, but that doesn’t bother us. If you’ve got an hat full of kids, then you’re probably better sticking with the main oven. But if it’s just the two of you, then all you need to do, is choose the colour……. You won’t regret it, I promise!

This device is a game-changer!
Bought this during Prime week as there was a good saving on it. I love it!! It's nice and compact, which is why I have steered away from air fryers up to now because of the space they take up on the work surface and/or cupboard. Dead easy to use; choose your function, choose the time and press start. It's as easy as that! I do check on how the food is cooking a couple of minutes before the cooking time is up just to make sure it's not burning etc as I am still getting used to it. I like how there are two different size bowls and the plastic lids for them which mean you can store the food in the fridge in the bowl without having to transfer it to another container. It's supposed to be 'portable'; if that means moving it around in the kitchen from surface to surface etc then yes, it is. If you wanted to take this on holiday (in the UK, if in a holiday cottage, self-catering etc) it would be brilliant for that because it is compact and doesn't take up loads of space. But if you think you could pop this in your handbag/manbag and take it to work for heating or cooking, you absolutely could in theory, but would be heavy to carry about. The bowls are glass and the lid/handle part has the cooking mechanism in it so it's probably not recommended for that scenario. Having said that, it is solid and good quality and with Prime Day reduction it is worth the price.

Ninja
Cooks well, very quiet. Space saver, with opportunity to cook a variety of dishes. Easy to clean as is glass mainly, quicker than an oven and serves multiple purposes. Worth the price.

Perfect for a smaller kitchen
I was a bit concerned reading other reviews about the cooking trays that fit inside the bowls. Reviewers said the feet were coming away, but I've had no issues. Either Ninja have modified it since those reviews, or the method of just placing the trays inside and not pushing them down hard is best ?I have nothing but praise for the Crispi. Perfect for when I want to cook some fish to go with a salad, or even a kipper for breakfast. Ideal for re-heating pizza slices too. Brilliant for smaller kitchens and/or occaisonal use when a full sized fryer is too much.

Crisper Plate Issues
It’s small, convenient and seems to cook well so far. The only issue encountered is that the feet on the crisper plates disintegrate after only a few uses. I’m on my second set of crisper plates and the large one has just failed. These really need a redesign.
