Kills Scale Bugs and more!
I first bought this when I brought all of my plants indoors for the winter a few years ago and suddenly had SWARMS of fungus gnats all over my apartment. This was 1 part of a 2 step eradication process I ended up using. Then I lost my key lime tree to something I didn't notice and had never heard of, SCALE BUGS. They're just the absolute most insidious thing that's ever attacked my plants. Now I protect my dearly departed key lime tree's babies (she made a TON of viable seeds and I have 5 saplings that survived transplanting) along with my lemon (grown from a store-bought lemon seed) and my kumquat tree from these little tiny monsters on a regular basis with this stuff. I'm so glad I have this!I also figured out that the scale bugs came from a small succulent I bought at CVS. Store bought (pharmacy, CPG retail, and grocery store) plants often come home with some sort of issues, so I now proactively treat every new plant with this as it comes into the house and enters a couple of weeks quarantine before joining the rest of my indoor garden.I usually put this into my battery powered continuous sprayer to really make the most of it (makes a fine mist) and make sure every surface is covered under, over, all around. Then I'll pour a bottle of this into my watering can (normal 2/2.5 gallon green one from ACE) and treat the soil. I'll then finish that with a quick spray of undiluted insecticide on top of the soil for anything that's still alive on the surface. This seems to keep my unwanted pests manageable. In between treatments with this every time I see a bug, I'll also periodically water my plants with hydrogen peroxide (standard 3% first aid concentration) to keep root fungus under control and kill off any pest larvae in the soil. This process has been beneficial to stopping infestations before they get out of control and this spray is an important part of that routine! Now I'll see 2-3 gnats a day and have 65 indoor plants to maintain, so I'll consider that a success. Note that this isn't THAT toxic, so don't expect it to solve your problems in one treatment or by simply spraying the leaves. Get creative and get this stuff to all parts of your plant and it'll do the job, but you may need more than 1 bottle. If you get the really toxic stuff, sure, it might work the way you're hoping in 1 treatment, but if you wanted that why would you have bought this spray?

Works in the short term
Worked great but your plants will need a change if you have a longer lasting problem. Younger plants started to dying after too many uses. Just read the instructions and keep an eye on your plant baby.

Good for most plants, careful with others
First off it did make a big difference with the fungus fly problem i was having. I'm seeing at least 75% less of them now. theres still a few occasionally but i assume those are just ones deeper that my lazy spraying didn't get too in the dirt. The smell isnt too bad. Its not pungent or harsh but its definitely unpleasant so probably dont wanna spray it in an enclosed room that you cant let air our for a couple hoursShowed no problems at all with my peppermint and oregano plants and even my freshly budding chrysanthemum seedlings didn't have any problem with the spray. However a single spray of the stuff absolutely MURDERED my lavender plants: they were wilting and dying within hours of a single spray and even repotting them didn't save them. so be careful which plants you use it on!

Gnats are GONE. THIS STUFF WORKS.
I recently replanted all my houseplants and I believe one of the bags of soil must have been contaminated with gnats because all of a sudden we had a real problem and they weren’t going away. I was trying to dry out the soil and was using sticky gnat traps in each plant, and each one was working, in that it was filling up with gnats, but there didn’t seem to be less gnats. Finally I read on the reviews for the sticky gnat traps that this spray was the key to finally being done with the gnats and omg they weren’t kidding. I sprayed it yesterday afternoon on the soil of each plant and replaced the sticky traps, and this morning there are no gnats on any trap and I haven’t seen one flying either. I can’t say enough good things about this stuff. I also appreciate that it’s natural, because I do have small kids and a small dog. No weird scent or any issue.

Didn't Resolve our Fungus Gnat Issue
We had Fungus Gnats living in a plant. I think the soil came with the gnats. They were terrible pests and difficult to get rid of. This is the only pesticide with tried. This looked like a good product for Fungus Gnats, but it didn't work at all for us. We used the yellow sticky flower shaped traps to monitor the gnat population before and after using the spray. The spray did not appear to harm the gnats even after several treatments over several weeks. Putting the plant outside solved the problem.

Appears to have resulted in INSTANT DEATH of fungus gnats - will update if necessary
I have been waiting anxiously for this spray ever since the fungus gnat infestation of two of my office plants got out of control. As many others have stated on this review page, I believe the infestation stems either from the potting soil I used to pot the plants or the grower's pot one of my plants came in. Always isolate/quarantine your plants first, and avoid moisture control potting soil, because this keeps the soil moist and ideal for the breeding of gnats.Anyway, I sprayed/drenched the soil of each of my pots that was infested immediately upon receiving the bottles. I relished in seeing the pests die upon impact/contact with the liquid. I am hoping I did not use too much, and I will monitor accordingly and post an update if need be. My plants have remained pretty healthy despite the gnat infestation, but they needed to be addressed.UPDATE: It has been less than a week and the gnat infestation has been greatly (I would say 80%) reduced. I accomplished this by drenching the soil with the solution - literally taking the spray top off and pouring it into the plant pot. My plants are established and hardy and so far do not appear to be in distress from this treatment. In fact, I have ordered two more bottles to continue with this course of treatment until the gnats have been annihilated.
