I bought the DJI Osmo Mobile 7P on sale as something to go with my S26 Ultra. I normally film with the Xtra Muse however I wanted something less sensitive to carry around that allowed me to film with my phone. This device does just that, and it is quite reliable as well. Pros - Footage is super smooth consistently - The Mobile 7P feels well built as do all DJI products - Fits even larger phones like the S26 Ultra - Has AI tracking built in with a light - Can charge your phone while filming from the devices battery - Can use the tracking module as a DJI mic receiver to easily connect wireless DJI mics (ex: mic mini) to your phone Cons - Gimbal does need calibrated more often than i'd like, however that's probably an issue with my chonk of a phone - Built in tripod does feel a tad flimsy - AI tracking can be gimmicky and if you leave gestures on for it, you can accidently turn it on and track when you're not wanting it to. (this is by far the most annoying thing about this device) Overall despite the cons, this device is smooth and super portable since it folds up, and when caught on sale is a solid value for money and will work with most modern phones. I especially appreciate the connectivity for DJI mics as it makes it a solid choice for phone vloggers. Definitely pick this up.

What I didn’t like: The gimbal is a bit bulky if you want something ultra‑compact. Tracking can lose the subject in very low light. The built‑in light is helpful but not very strong. Good for: Anyone who wants smoother videos for travel, vlogging, TikTok, or family events without needing a professional camera. Verdict: A reliable, feature‑packed gimbal that delivers smooth footage and great battery life — definitely worth it if you record videos often.

I bought the DJI Osmo Mobile 7P for filming quick travel clips. It’s light, folds small enough to fit in the included pouch, and I can even slip it in my back pocket with all the accessories. The built-in stand and extending arm make it easy to set up for hands-free shots. Unfortunately, the included short cable is a problem. It barely reaches most phones when mounted, makes it's impossible to flip orientations, and is just awkward to connect. Luckily that i is an easy enough fix if you get your own. I’ve also had issues keeping the gimbal level. Sometimes it drifts or points slightly off when walking. You really need to use the DJI app to get full control, and while it adds features, it can also feel restrictive if you just want to shoot quickly. When it’s balanced and running right, the footage looks great and the stabilization is smooth. There’s still a small wobble when walking fast, but it’s far better than handheld. I do wish DJI included an adapter for their action cameras since that would make it much more flexible. If you’re filming with a phone and want something portable with good stabilization, it’s a solid choice. Just be ready for some setup quirks and plan to replace the cable with a longer one.

I spent weeks and weeks researching GImbals for use on my iphone. I began looking for the best DJI clone or competitor I could find. I asked myself, why do I want to buy a clone or an imposter, I should just buy the real thing. It was money well spent. This Gimbal is amazing. Easy to connect, super smooth and it works remotely. This thing really makes a difference in our videos - they look so much more professional now. DJI products are top-notch!

The 3-axis stabilisation keeps my clips nice and steady even when I’m walking or moving around, so my videos look way more professional than handheld shots. It’s quick to set up — literally unfold it, stick your phone on the magnetic mount and you’re ready to shoot. The built-in extension rod and tripod make it super flexible for selfies or low angles without carrying extra gear. The tracking features are awesome too. The gimbal follows subjects smoothly without me having to adjust manually, which is perfect for vlogs, family recordings, or content creation. Battery life is solid — I easily get around 8-10 hours of use before needing a recharge, and there’s even a USB-C port that can charge your phone while you’re filming. My only small gripe is the app experience — sometimes it can be a bit buggy or laggy depending on your phone, and some people have mentioned it crashing or not working perfectly. But for basic stabilisation and shooting, I usually just use my phone’s native camera app and it works great.

Ok, here it is: If you're serious or even semi serious about filming whatever, you'd be bonkers not to get this Gimbal. It is absolutely out of this world and a must have. This particular Gimbal has an extra tracking module that connects to the bracket and makes filming yourself, using the main lenses, an absolute doddle. Buy pulling the trigger on the handle a green light shows that the main subject, eg. you, is in focus, and the camera will follow you, giving you proportionate head and side space, not to mention no more jerkiness. If you enjoy filming, whether for fun or semi professionally, this is the ultimate instrument to add to your hobby or avocation. I looked at several Gimbals but this is the best as it works well with other dji equipment. The brackets can even hold the Action 4 cameras, which is why I bought it.

The device fell accidentally within the first month of use and the bottom housing detached. The camera and gimbal are intact. I would like to know if repair or replacement options are available under warranty or paid service.

This isn't my first gimbal but it is the easiest one I've had to set up. There's a computer and phone manufacturer that people love because they say "it just works". And that's how I feel about the DJI ecosystem! Right from the get-go you have direction from the DJI camera app on how to set up and use this gimbal. The magnetic connector makes it so easy to connect the phone to your gimbal. The multifunction tracking unit makes the DJI Osmo Mobile 7P a game changer, and an incredible joy to use! The multi-function tracking unit allows you to easily use this by yourself, and enables you to use any camera software! DJI mics easily pair with the tracking unit. I understand why so many solo creators choose DJI. 10 minutes after charging everything, I had everything connected and started shooting video on this new DJI setup. The tracking by the DJI multifunction tracking unit is magical! If you are trying to choose between the 7 and 7P, go the 7P! In addition to the tracking unit, the 7P has a rotational control for zooming and lighting, while the 7 has a simple slider. Definitely my favourite piece of kit!

I have been using this for Android S25, and I have to say that is not dat bad, you just have to dedicate time to it, to get to know the options, once you know what you are doing, it's become a great tool for all your filming ideas 💡 👍
