If your phone already has good image stabilization, this takes it to the next level.• Compact and portable. It folds down easily — small enough to fit into a small bag, a cargo pocket, or even your back jeans pocket (without the phone attached).• Great for vlogging or travel. The built-in light works really well for low-light or nighttime shooting.• Tracking is top-tier. Whether you use the DJI Mimo app or your phone’s native camera app, the tracking keeps up impressively — on par with my DJI drone’s tracking.• The app is helpful. DJI Mimo includes solid tutorials and walkthroughs for learning how to use the gimbal, which is great if you’re new to this tech.A Few Drawbacks:• “SpinShot” mode doesn’t do a full 360. It stops just short (~270°), which feels a little limiting.• Shutdown/Collapse is a bit tricky. If you don’t position it exactly right, it may turn itself back on — not a big deal, but there’s a small learning curve.• Selfie stick height is just okay. Great when holding it, but when placed on the ground, the angle is a little too low for my taste.
