This is my favorite encaustic medium. I like that it is in pellat form so that I can add in small or larger quantities depending on what I am working on.

Love this encaustic medium! I’m going through a lot these days. Enough to warrant putting it on subscribe and save, and able to save a little bit of $$. It’s pretty hot out right now, and it did kind of stick together (boxes were out in the driveway for a couple of hours)—but really not bad as the melting temp is much higher than regular beeswax. I’ll be able to knock the bag against the counter and break it back up into pellets. My point in telling you all of this is to let you know, that even if you order in the summer, and it’s 90F or so, the wax medium will still be fine.

Excellent product, much easier than mixing your own resin and wax

Good price on pellet medium -- the easiest way to buy encaustic medium, particularly if you use your pallet to dilute colors. R&F is one of the original vendors and continues to provide a great product and services. Buy with Amazon Prime and I haven't found a better price. I am personally, too lazy to spend my limited time making media instead of doing art-- and R&F makes a more consistent media than I can make myself.

Very easy to use. Seller sent it in a timely fashion. As an encaustic painter, I will definitely continue to use this product!
