DD Tarp S - Ultralight, Compact Tarp/Basha. Multiple set-up options

I got the title confused, I wanted the very lightest weight tarp and thought this was it as it was called. My mistake but I contacted DD direct and they were absolutely brilliant and helped me upgrade my purchase as the tarp had not been used. So check what you are buying ... ultralight is NOT super light. Both great, great tarps and excellent quality (I have a 4x4m lightweight which is intended for camping from the car and as a family - but it is still lightweight compared to other tarps this size) but there is a pack size and weight difference which matters particularly if you are back packing. The super light is for me to use in various ways on its own or as an add on awning to my Quasar or Trisar Terra Nova when back packing. It has proved it's worth already in torrential rain when it was possible for my daughter and I to sit out under the tarp sipping wine and enjoy the rain rather than be confined to the zipped up tent. Which ever DD tarp you buy it will be worth every penny and the service is excellent. Just check the measurements of the pack size to be sure you have chosen the correct one.

DD Quality, cant go wrong.I already have a few DD tarps and Hammocks and never had a single issue with any of their products.Will be using this smaller tarp/basha type shelter for stealth ground dwells but will make my own stakes and use no.36 bankline for guy lines etc.DD should consider manufacturing this item in their excellent woodland camo pattern as I think wild campers and bushcrafters would snap it up.

Absolutely what the doctor ordered! I purhcased the DD Tarp Solo to go with my fastpacking (multi-day running) kit and have to say its brilliant! ultralite, and perfectly sized to shelter my whole body and kit (i'm 5ft 11"), i've now used it twice, once in the peak district (where it rained and was windy) and another on the norfolk coast (where it was rainy and windy lol)! both times it stood up to the elements, kept me dry and safe from the elements. packs down to a great size in my pack. highly recommended.I emailed the seller to find out when the product would be delivered and they were absolutely brilliant, promptly replied and I got the delivery the next day.

This company is a pleasure to deal with. I ordered the wrong size. No problem, quick credit and no hassle.The 3x3 arrived and it's fantastic I've only had it up on the garden so far but love it. Well thought out product strong yet light and plenty of options for all sorts of conditions.

I tested this in pouring rain and high winds. I'm still hear :), very happy.

These have to be some of the best camping tarps on the market.Come in a huge variety of sizes and now variety in colour.Very trust worthy item for shelter making

Good size and easy to use. Although it comes with some guy ropes and pegs, you may wish to purchase a few more just to keep it more secure in any wind.
