Has the shipping issues been resolved? I do not want to order this and have it arrive warm.

received cheese today and it was wrapped in only plastic no hard wax protective covering and no ice pack. The cheese was warm oily and smelled bad. says item can not be returned. I'm waiting to hear back from Amazon. I have ordered the cheese from a different company with no problem.

What is the expiration on these?

Hi! The expiration date was fine (I always check!) when I ordered but cannot tell you the exact date since we ate the cheese. It was really delicious and I recommend this to anyone craving the fabulous flavor of Gjetost cheese!

Can this be frozen if I'm not eating both right now?

I am not sure if this can be frozen because I've never tried, but I've kept and eaten Gjetost my whole life and know that it keeps for a VERY long time in the refrigerator and is just fine. My Grandparents who were both Norwegian always had one or two in their fridge and it always tasted great no matter how long it had been there!
