Are these good for strat single coil?

Essentially, you can use any capacitor for any pickup. But, some go by a rule of thumb that a .022uF is used more with humbuckers, and .047uF is used more for single coils. Personally I like the .047uF with singles (especially the bridge position) because the .047uF caps will bleed off more of the highs to give you a darker tone. Ultimately, I would suggest experimenting with different capacitor values to find what YOU like. After all, it really comes down to personal taste. If I buy a pre-wire harness are these already installed and soldered?

I'm not sure I understand your question. This is an ad for a stand alone pair of capacitors. You can probably find a wiring harness that uses Orange Drop capacitors, but this is not the place.

It's a cap

I used these in tone circuits of an electric guitar. I don't have a way to test the capacitance, but I suspect it's fine. I'm an electrical engineer and have never seen an issue with these types of caps. And, as long as the capacitance is within tolerance, they'll work just fine. The caps are physically large, probably due to the voltage rating which is larger than necessary for the signals in the guitar.

Orange Drop capacitors, their reputation precedes them.

Orange Drop capacitors have a reputation and a fervent following. That's why I bought them for a future project. I also purchased Mallory caps for the same reasons. The projects haven't occurred, yet, but the seller did get these to me quickly. I liked that. These are the right size for my intended purpose. Soldering should be easy since I am just replacing existing caps. I do plan on identifying the correct orientation prior to installation of both brands of caps. Sure, buy some of these caps and put them through your own test. They don't cost much. Sometimes the easiest fix is less than we thought it would be.
