My selfie mic stopped working after I got the phone wet which means not only can I not talk to myself when making a selfie video but I can't talk to Siri or do dictation. So I tried this. It worked great. I didn't do a detailed analysis of sound or picture quality so I can't say whether or not it is as good as the original but the sound was good and picture quality was fine with me. It came with an excellent set of iphone tools, worth the price just for the tools. Detailed instructions were provided for leaving a positive review for the product, but you're completely on your own for getting the thing installed. Good youtube videos are available that will help you do the job.

Wife’s phone had a malfunctioning proximity sensor. Purchased this product and swapped out the old sensor/camera with this new one. In the process I found that part of the factory sensor had actually broken free from the cable. Now the proximity sensor works perfectly.Camera seems reasonably good quality, but I haven’t compared it directly to the original.Be careful, take your time, use good light, identify all the screws as they are not interchangeable. Watch a video or two as well. It wasn’t all that hard, and the kit has all the tools needed.

The Apple "tech people" in the apple store said they could not change the microphone on and Iphone 6 after determining it was the front microphone. They said they would actually have to send it in and that it wouldn't be worth it. Talk about terrible customer service from Apple. I bought this, found instructions online, and had it replaced within an hour which is exactly what some of the reviews said it would take. Works fantastic. Apple very well may be losing a customer because their customer service has tanked so bad over the years.

My Son broke his iPhone 6s screen, and while putting it back together I broke the ribbon cable for the camera and ear piece. Was relieved to see this for only $14 so I ordered it.Got here in two days thanks to Prime, and I quickly installed it now everything on his phone is working correctly again, and he says his earpiece is working better than ever.Came with a huge bag of iPhone tools, most not needed to do this repair but something to keep anyways. :)

I was especting to have my front camera working again... but it is not working at all.

Have to give it four stars because I ordered it to fix the mic issue with Siri and voice dictation. Didn't work. A lot of things in technology arrive DOA sometimes and that's alright though. Was pretty disappointed but stayed optimistic and returned and ordered this same one. Got it today and installed it and it worked! So overall I'm very happy with it and I would give it five stars if it worked the first time but it's okay! It also comes with all tools to do the job and some which was awesome

Worked great on my iPhone 6. When I re-seated my charging connector on the iPhone I must have damaged the front facing camera / earpiece cable. So I was unable to hear out of the earpiece (had to use a headset or speakerphone) and my front facing camera stopped working.Thankfully this cable did the trick! The ifixit website guide helped me install this and it worked fine. No red screen of death, works perfect! A+

Worked great for 2 weeks. Needed new speaker (Siri) couldn't hear me. Installed and everything was good for two weeks, then the forward facing camera stopped working.
