To seller: 20 mule is sodium tetraborate; this is pentahydrate borax. Please explain the difference between the two chemicals?

Both Earthborn Elements Borax and 20 Mule Team Borax are sodium tetraborate. That is the chemical for borax. The main difference is that 20 Mule Team borax is often decahydrate while ours is pentahydrate. That means that there are ten water molecules attached to 20 Mule Team borax and only 5 water molecules attached to Earthborn Elements Borax.

How to open? Pry open the holes on the side to take the lid off - still requires force

At Earthborn Elements, we seal our buckets in the most secure way possible to keep the contents in and any contaminants out. The seal on our buckets is meant for food storage to preserve the quality of the product inside. A bucket opener can be used to open the lid in a similar way to how a can opener is used to open a can, except our buckets can be resealed. Bucket openers can be purchased from online retailers such as Amazon or from your local hardware or home improvement store. It is often easier to loosen the lid by working around the lid in sections. Can anyone recommend a good slime recipe?

There are a lot of good slime recipes out there, most using borax. Here's one we've tried. Ingredients: ¼ tsp. Earthborn Elements Borax, ½ cup PVA School Glue (clear glue makes clear slime and white glue makes opaque glue), 1 cup water divided into ½ cups, Food Color and/or Glitter (optional) Directions: In a mixing bowl, dissolve Earthborn Elements Borax into ½ cup of warm water. Mix thoroughly. In a second bowl, mix ½ cup water with glue until well mixed. If desired, add food coloring or glitter to glue solution. Pour borax solution into glue solution and stir. The two solutions will mix and begin to solidify. Remove slime from bowl and knead for several minutes. Store covered in a clear container. Note: Altering the amount of Earthborn Elements Borax and water will change the consistency of the slime.

Works Great, Multi-use

Good quality. Works well. I use it in my HE top-load LG Washer. Keeps the tub clean and fresh, and cleans our clothes, even the greasy-grimey uniform clothes of both my auto-diesel mechanic, and automotive line technician in the family, without me having to run a clean cycle in between.
