Very well built
I rarely write reviews, but this product motivated me. I'm impressed. A lot. I'm a new aviator, putting together my cockpit. I got the Winwing Ursa Minor, a product I greatly endorse. (I wish I had gotten the left-handed.) I needed to get it down lower, off my desk. This product took my Winwing flightstick off my desk and above my lap. It worked and worked better than that--it's extremely well-built. Seriously, this is some heavy hardware, yet it was easy to put together. Best of all, it comes right off. If you're thinking about it, get it. You'll be very happy with it, as I am. Blue skies.

Perfect joystick mount!
This desk mount for my Winwing Ursa Airline stick is awesome. It's all metal, sturdy, easy to assemble and adjusts to exactly the right height to match my chair's armrest. I plan to buy another one for the upcoming Winwing Airline throttle. Hopefully, the bolt patterns in the base with lineup. 100% recommend this product.

Works well but assembly is a pain
I'm using this with a Logitech Extreme 3D Pro and so far it's been great. The clamp is adjustable to a certain extent and so is the height of the controller itself. My biggest complaint is the assembly. This really should come preassembled. The assembly isn't difficult, just tedious. The clamp is also a little bit of a downside. The clamp only adjusts a very small amount, using the tension arm. If you need to make the adjustment larger or smaller, you need to loosen allen screws and readjust the width. If you're only using this with one desk, it's not a big deal but if you plan on using it on several, it's going to be a pain.

Solidly built with a strong clamping action
When this mount first arrived I wasn’t quite sure what was in the box because it was so flat. I guess I really didn’t know what I was expecting, but all of the parts are very compact before they are assembled. I could tell by the weight, however, that this mount was going to be substantial, and I was not disappointed on that count. The main T channel riser is milled from a solid chunk of aluminum, and the other parts are made from steel. The whole unit went together quickly and easily. The included instructions are comprehensive and have good illustrations. The kit includes all of the hardware and instructions needed for mounting most joysticks out there. I did have to loosen and retighten the screws on the clamp platform a few times in order to get the distance right, but that had more to do with the drop-edge around my desk. I had to leave enough room to get past the edge but so the clamp was still within clamping distance of the top. It was worth finding that balance. What I was the most impressed with was the lever style quick release clamp. I absolutely love this style over the threaded type. Once I got the adjustments right, this clamp applied substantial pressure which produces an incredible hold on the desk. Of course, the best part is that I can put it on and remove it with just a flip of the lever. Awesome! All in all, I think that this is an excellent mount for playing flight sims.

Strong and high quality even regardless of the price
I've had my joystick and throttle on stands (end tables that are half desk height) rather than on a bracket at the edge of my desk for years now. It worked out fine but it meant I was always side stick and I couldn't do center stick. This changed that, finally.I had low expectations because of how low the price of this mount was, but this surprised me. I have monitor, mic, tablet, etc arms, as well as keyboard and mouse trays that all used c-clamps to attack to a desk. They were never robust enough, so I feared this wouldn't be good enough either. I was pleasantly surprised, the clamp is very good and makes the mount super stiff. This was compatible with many sticks, but not mine. I knew that when I ordered it. I have a 3d printer and I designed an adapter plate myself. It cost $1-2 of plastic and electricity. A mount compatible with my stick would have cost twice the price of this one.My only complaint is that I wish the aluminum extrusion was half again as long, so I could mount my stick just a little bit lower. It's good enough, however.

Excellent and sturdy
This is the first kind of device that I have used to attach my joystick to my desk. Open until now, I have been moving my keyboard out of the way, and placing the joystick directly on the desk which interferes with the immersion and gets in the way of the screen. This clamp is absolutely awesome. It is super heavy and sturdy and well put together. The clamp is a little red joystick style quick release which easily clamps on and off my desk without any issues. I did have a couple of minor issues installing the joy stick to the metal plate in that I did not know which screws I had to use. But after checking some of the other reviews, I was able to see that I needed to use a long screw with a washer to attach my Logitech G extreme 3-D pro joystick. Overall, this is a great purchase and I can’t wait to use it to play my flight Sims.

Simple, Effective.
This is a very effective way to mount your flight stick. To start, this mount feels very well-made as it is mostly solid metal plates. The hardware attaches easily to the frame, and the handy instructions come with a guide for which holes to use with your flight stick. There isn't really much to say about this item, its just effective. If you have a cheap desk like mine you may need to use a piece of wood or something to create a flat area to clamp to. My desk is one of those cheapo desks that have a metal frame and then the desk top sits on top of that frame, so the frame makes the clamp area not flat, thus I have to use something to fill the gap.Overall I am very happy with the item, I don't mind that I have to make it work.
