Perfect Replacement
I have a large/heavy tandem kayak. When I first received these I wasn't sure that they would be "heavy duty" enough. To my surprise they were easy to install (used my boy scout square knot) and easily supports the weight of my kayak (and many times I'm dragging the kayak by a single handle). The blue insert also matches my kayak. I'm giving it a thumbs up. A real good value.

Easy install replacing a broken hobie. Price is right. Hobie has a metal support inside and it is sealed. For sure the hobie is better. But this is good enough and honestly its just a handle.

The product was exactly what I needed, as advertised, shipped in a timely fashion and gave clear instructions for installation.I’ve gone for a long time needing to replace 1 handle and missing an another entirely - I have no idea why I waited so long to replace them!

Not what I expected
The kayak handles are listed as "heavy duty," and the rope for the handles does not seem strong enough to carry my kayak. The installation directions are not clear. There are a few steps listed on a tiny piece of paper with only text. There are no pictures. From the instructions, it is not clear where the rope is inserted into the carry handle. The instructions also say to tie a knot in the rope, and it does not say where to tie the knot. I will try to install the handles on to my kayak to see if I can figure it out. If I can't install the handles, then I will send them back in the mail to Amazon. I thought that the quality would be a lot better for this product, and it is a disappointment.

easy to install and very comfy on the hands
the product was received promptly and installed without difficulty. The handles are comfortable. These handles are more expensive than some, but the installation through the existing holes was very easy with this model and others looked like they might not fit through the existing hole

Green piece broke within 2 weeks
The green insert broke on one handle. Only had them for 2 weeks. Relatively easy to install, quality is meh.
